“The best restaurant in the Scranton PA!!!! I live miles away and when in the area ALWAYS stop to eat here. The food is incredible! The prices are reasonable ($7.99 and up for lunch special - depending on your protein) and BYOB. The people are just so inviting and lovely. I have not tried another restaurant in area since finding it - and I always take home another dish for the next day. If you are in Scranton and want great food - GO HERE!!! 100% Recommend!!!!“
“I ate here after it changed ownership and withheld my review until I returned.I'm glad I did. The portions have increased and the flavor is incredible. I had Pad phed nor Mai level 3 spicy with tofu...it was excellent and satisfying. The chef came out and asked how the food was...a good sign of a place trying to improve and do well in the scranton lunch scene.Vegetarian options: Tofu and plant based meat options“
“We were staying at a hotel near Pittston on our way back to Canada Sunday night and decided to order from Mama's Thai Cuisine, having read all the great reviews posted. Well, it did not disappoint! We loved everything we ordered: the dumplings, shrimp rolls, pad Thai and green curry. The servings were so plentiful that I had leftovers for breakfast. Many thanks for this wonderful meal!“
“This is the first time that I have visited this restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and the service was excellent. My waiter's name was Tom and he was polite, knowledgeable about the menu items and just seemed happy. Having a waiter like this made my experience very enjoyable. For starters I had the seafood ravioli. It was a special item that isn't listed on the menu, but it was the best ravioli that I've had in a long time. It was stuffed with shrimp and crab and came with a white wine sauce with truffle oil. I've had dishes where the truffle oil overpowered the entire dish, but this one was perfect. For my entree I had the mango and honey chicken. The chicken was perfect. It was breaded, but the breading wasn't thick and didn't get soggy with the mango honey sauce. The chicken was also topped with peppers, pineapple and onions, but it wasn't overloaded and they added to the flavor nicely. This dish also came with steamed broccoli and rice. The rice came in a bowl on the side and wasn't soaked in sauce.I also had a Thai iced tea to drink with my meal. It was sweet, but not too sweet and had a light orange flavor.Overall I had a great experience and the food was amazing! Thank you for making my night, Formosa!“
“We had a wonderful date here, slower when we were in but that was fine. Quiet atmosphere and very good service. Our waitress was very polite and waited on our table with no delay. We ordered some of everything. The appetizers we tried were great! We also had a curry soup and pad Thai, both of which were amazing! Perfect blend of aromatics and flavor in the soup. Noodles seemed fresh and the pad Thai could have used more meat, (but that’s just our preference) I recommend asking for extra if you are trying to get your protein in. But all in all great food!“
“Entire experience was amazing! The service was so great, everyone was so sweet! The food was seriously incredible!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CATERING TO VEGANS!! They have an entire vegan menu which is so awesome! The drunken noodles with plant based beef is seriously one of the most flavorful and amazing dishes ever!“
