Slightly overrated food. Definitely overpriced. Consistent quality and food prep. Excellent staff in all positions. Awesome outdoor bar and patio seating. The decor is amazing and always gives you something to look at. They brew their own beer on site which is quite popular. Cooper's is a staple of Scranton.
Coopers is a great place if you stick to the basics. Their Manhattan Clam Chowder is fantastic. Their fish and chips is a hearty portion that is a main stay during Lent. The dining atmosphere is like enjoying a museum; the historic photos, the memorabilia make this a main stop if you’re visiting NEPA. The coconut shrimp is always a favorite.
