Ale Mary's is a gastropub located on Franklin Ave. in Scranton. They are open Mon 4PM - 12AM, Wed - Fri 4PM - 12AM, and Sat - Sun 12PM - 12AM.

My friends and I dropped in for a quick bite before our bowling tournament on Saturday. The food was delicious, and our server was friendly and made some great recommendations.

We ordered the house fries, house wings, and pulled pork nachos. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned with rosemary, thyme, and garlic, served with a tasty sriracha aioli. The wings were medium-sized, perfectly cooked, and tossed in a mild buffalo-style house sauce. The nachos were generously topped with tender pulled pork, BBQ sauce, Gouda sauce, and roasted corn salsa. Some of the tortilla chips were left bare, but all the ingredients came together nicely.

Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Half priced wings & bites every Monday.

Great vibe, big draft selection & awesome food. The chili lime Parm wings were fantastic & you need to try the sweet potato fries!

It's definitely Not Whistle's. Service was weak, took about 15 minutes to even get the bartender to ask me what I was drinking. The menu looks good. Didn't eat this time. Maybe on my next visit to Scranton.

Always have an enjoyable time here. Bartender Rob is a great host, always engaging and makes the best cosmos. The food is always well prepared (love the Apple Slaw on the Pulled Pork sandwich) and the fries are always hot and crispy.

Very disappointed. This used to be a great place. Not any more. Went here to watch a game and get some food. First thing was that i was given a beer that was not what i ordered. Ok. Nbd. Pulled pork nachos came out in about 5 minutes. Great! Not so much. Semi stale chips. Parts of it were cold. No flavor except the over abundance of BBQ sauce. The rest of the food came out fairly quick to. Great! Not really. Pierogi flat bread was difficult to cut and pierogis on it tasted like a freezer. Bourbon and bacon wings were literally drowning in the sauce. Sauce covered everything including the celery and blue cheese dressing container. The wings were actually cooked well and would have been great if not for the ridiculous amout of sauce. We were still eating when the server brought our check and said "no rush". Rushed is exactly how we felt. Would definitely have had another beer or more and stayed to watch the game. Even as we were leaving, the hostess was to busy on her phone to acknowledge us and say anything. Sad to see what was once a great place sink so low. Beer selection and atmosphere is still great. Other than that, it was awful. I'm done. Will never go back.

Service was great. Beer was cheap, especially during happy hour, and was a relaxed environment to unwind in for a good, American style meal.

We waited at the bar for about 20 minutes had drinks then our 2 top table opened up near the bar. The host gave us our menus.
We sat for 30 minutes and no waiter ever showed up so we left.
We always liked this place never again.
Ended up going to the Railyard restaurant across from the Hilton and had a great dinner.
