Great corner bar that usually has live music and great food. There was a musician with a guitar playing when we arrived on Friday night. We arrived at about 9:30pm but we were still able to order until 10. I ordered bone-in chicken wings and pulled pork nachos. The staff was so nice and friendly. They took good care of us. Always a great time at Andy Gavin's!
You Need To Know? Arrived at 6 on a Friday night & we were greeted immediately & able to sit at a table. The staff worked well together & service was quick & drinks were cold & stiff. On this occasion we had the pan seared Ahi Tuna, a grilled chicken salad 🥗 and the Dudewitch which was marinated steak, onions on a bed of fries. Food was good & is worth a try if your in the Scranton area. Now You Know! -TBH
The building is really interesting. It was clean too, so that's a plus. The food was pretty good, but nothing exceptional, which is fine because this is a bar, so good is better than expected. The service was not great. The waitresses seemed unhappy (again, I understand- it's not the dream job) and I noticed one in particular was unkind to several customers.
