not sure why it was surprising to me... but the food was very good!! i got the korean steak tacos on recommendation from the bartender and she was right, i enjoyed them a lot!!!! (and im from texas too). my only critique, which i couldn't stop thinking about, was...... three juicy yummy wet soft tacos served on a...... completely FLAT board/plate?? it's hard to think of any kind of food that should be served on a flat surface other than like a charcuterie board, and anything that drips juices definitely should not be!! that's just my opinion and it wasn't a big deal i just had to say my peace about it 🙏

We had an amazing experience here on a Saturday afternoon, family of 5 and two small pups that like to bark occasionally…..they welcomed us with open arms, even though our young pups were misbehaving a bit the waitress made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. We were able to order two plain pieces of grilled chicken for the dogs which was great. The food was delicious, I think that we ordered too much food, but my tacos and Mac and cheese were delicious along with a perfect margarita. My son is so picky, he only eats fries cooked perfectly of course and devoured them! My older daughters loved the jukebox app they have available to purchase and play music. We will be back! Thank you for your kindness and making us feel welcomed!

It's been great getting to know the hip and awesome spots in Scranton, PA. It's much more than The Office. Backyard Ale House was a great-wife-date-place-vibe last night. Friendly staff. Great service. Incredible weather.

Food was delicious. Ordered the baked Mac and cheese, the Bavarian pretzels, onion rings, a smash burger that was TO.DIE FOR, omg like a scene out of when Harry met Sally 😂🤣😂 and tried a brisket topped burger, which I wasn't too impressed with, the brisket on the burger was dry and tough. Would still eat here again though. Patio was a dream, we went about 2pm on a Saturday and it was a nice crowd. Our waiter was amusing, very friendly and helpful, but possibly hung over as well. His apathetic barely there demeanor almost wanted me to make him sit so he could get his shit together for a few minutes 🤣😂🤣 He was a riot lol.
Great relaxed vibe here, nice outdoor area for the summer!!! Good drinks! I didn't eat so can't say about the food.

Had the ribeye cheesesteak with peppers, onions, and mushrooms.($15) Absolutely excellent. Good quality beef, fresh toppings. Cheese sauce is a flavorful 3 cheese blend. Wife had the ribs. Perfectly smoked, finished on a grill to add a crisp, sauce was home made and delicious. ($30 restaurant week deal came with Ceasar salad, 2 sides, and dessert)
Can't wait to go back to try other menu items! Highly recommend.

I grabbed lunch with a few family members and I was very happy with the service and food. Our waitress was on it and delivered exceptional service. I had the roast beef sandwich which was excellent and everyone else enjoyed their food as well. The beer selection was plentiful. We loved sitting outside on the patio as well. I’d go back for sure.
