Have to take time out to write a review on our experience Saturday evening.
Juggling two new grandchildren and doing the college traveling leaves my husband and I barely enough time to talk yet go out to a restaurant. We chose Bar Pazzo as our date night and what a great choice it turned out to be.
The environment is classy and lively, the patrons all come together to share their favorite meal or visit their favorite server. Seeing the crowded restaurant and witnessing a line of people eager to get in was just another validation of a good choice to dine there.
The staff is family and greets everyone with a warm greeting and pleasing attitude. You instantly feel welcomed here.
Our food was being prepared behind a small glass window where you could see the synchronicity' of a true team working together like well oiled machine.
We ordered the Scrantonian pizza, a local favorite for the pepperoni lovers out there. The crust was impeccable and finally we didn’t have to fight out the delicious pepperoni cooked to perfection. The desserts and drinks reflect the staffs creativity all made on premises fresh. The gelato is my favorite!
If you’re looking for an upbeat, classy, pizzeria with exquisite culinary talent take the time to visit Bar Oazzo. It’s worth the wait!
We’ll be regulars for sure.

The best part of coming here was the service for me. The wait staff was very kind and accommodating. Unfortunately everything else was pretty mid. We had a reservation that was not ready for us when we arrived, and by the time we were ready to order they were out of some of their best dishes. The atmosphere is loud and its hard to talk to the people sitting next to you. The food was okay but not impressive or worth the price. We ordered the Bronx bomber pizza and the pasta with bolognese sauce and both were not great, nor were they worth $20+. Although the ricotta appetizer we ordered was amazing. I was really excited to try this place and left pretty disappointed. 2.5/5

I literally do not know how this place has 4.6 stars I’ve never written a review before ever in my life and this place just motivated me to do this for the first time. It was hard to identify a single thing on this menu that I would find enjoyable. Dear God please do not get the crab gnocchi. My pepperoni pizza was burnt and more pepperoni than pizza. Not in a good way like there was zero cheese just pepperoni. The Duck Wings were the only edible thing and that’s saying a lot because they would be at the bottom of my list at any other joint, including McDonalds. Not only was this food terrible but this atmosphere was truly evil, I would not send my worst enemies here. My server was sweet though, I pray she finds a better job.

If you stop anywhere in Scranton, make sure you eat here. The authenticity of the Neapolitan pizza was on point with inventive toppings! Love that they make the pizza dough and gnocchi in house with Italian flour. That is the telltale sign of a true restaurateur. The cannoli was also fantastic! Thank for a great meal and great service!!

Good was great. They seemed a bit flustered that we didn’t have a reservation eventhough it was practically empty BUT by the time we left it was PACKED.

We had an incredible time at Bar Pazzo! From the moment we walked in, the hostess was pleasant and kind, setting the perfect tone for our evening. Our waitress, Abby, was exceptional—knowledgeable, articulate, and kind. She truly made our night special. And then there was the food! We ordered one of their many pizzas, and I must say, it was as good, if not better, than my favorites in New York and New Haven. Be sure to make a reservation because this place is a local hot spot and is getting very well known. Highly recommend!

Parking: Parking Garage was next door. it cost us $2 for the 2 hours we were at dinner.

Some of the finest food in the area, run by folks that care about the fine craft of cuisine. There's a rotating menu, with fresh , seasonal Ingredients and a wide variety of fine wines and libations to enjoy. Chef and his staff maintain fine dining without a suit and tie and deliver completely on their end of the agreement. Really nice place, absolutely uniquely fantastic food and a welcoming atmosphere.
There's a bar to sit at , art to peruse and smells that welcome you to adventure through the menu.
Bar Pazzo holds monthly artist exhibitions and welcome different artist each month.
They appreciate good stuff, good food and welcome any guest to serve them the finest. Check out the honey whipped ricotta on anything. It's amazing.
Cheers and thank you Bar Pazzo for a great place to enjoy a fine dinner.

The pizza here was awesome! The atmosphere wasn’t incredibly welcoming and a little chaotic. The music could be turned down just a touch so you don’t feel forced to holler across the table.
The service was ok. The server kept disappearing for extended periods of time and then handled a declined card poorly. She came back to the table, said this card isn’t working as she tossed it on the table, then walked away immediately.
A word of advice, don’t always assume the worst and having a friendlier demeanor with a bit of patience will earn you higher tips.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Scranton. I had not been here for a while, I went to dinner last night and was utterly blown away! I ordered the Elote pizza and for dessert, I had one of the best crème brûlée I’ve had! The flavor was amazing. The vanilla bean exploded through the whole dish. I would recommend this place to everyone and I definitely will be back!

Food was overpriced & the parking stinks. My daughter got Shrimp risotto & it was oversalted & disgusting. The only thing that saved the dinner was the whipped ricotta. Won't be back for a long time. Do better.

Food was good, if a little pricy. Avoid the cocktails--mine was overdiluted and had lemon juice from a bottle. If I'd seen the bottle in the fridge I would have ordered beer, but didn't see it until after I got my drink. No excuse for that at $15 a cocktail.

This place is great and the staff is amazing. We sat at the bar and had the whipped ricotta, meatballs and the Bronx pizza. I thought everything was yummy, for me the sauce with the meatballs was too sweet and they were a bit dry. We had delicious cocktails, a Manhattan & espresso martini. The place is packed so I would recommend a reservation.
