The BEST pizza in the entire tri-state area. I’ve had a lot of pizza in my life—NYC, Philly, Jersey—you name it. And nothing compares to Buona Pizza in Scranton. The crust is always perfect, the sauce is full of flavor, and the cheese melts like a dream. Every bite hits just right. But here’s the key—you have to eat it there. Fresh out of the oven, hot and perfect. That’s when it really hits different. If you’re a true pizza lover, this place is non-negotiable.
If you miss the old pizzeria feel, and want to support a family business, Buona's is the place for you! The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is like walking into the 80's with arcade games and vintage decor. Absolutely a 10/10!
We were staying at the Radisson Lackawanna Hotel; in for a family reunion. Well, being from the Philly area, I didn’t know what to expect. Well guess what? One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, bar none! We had the pepperoni pizza and it was amazing! It’s greasy, and that’s the way I like my pizza. Just eat it over a plate otherwise it’ll get on your shirt. But the taste was great. The cheese and sauce were great. The crust was wonderful. I can’t wait to get back to...
