The food is amazing! You definitely feel like family here <3 Loved the music 🎶. I loved seeing all family photos. Even though they had people stopping in while we were leaving, the owner still took time to say goodbye, can't wait to go back! I definitely recommend stopping in! 🌟

My partner and I decided to stop by Chef Von and Mom during our vacation and it was hands down the best food we have ever eaten. The burger, fries and wings we had were so good. We will definitely come back to Chef Von and Mom's the next time we're visiting Scranton.

The food was fantastic but the speed of service needs a lot of work. I walked in to pick up an order, there were only two tables with people at them so not very busy, I was 10 minutes late due to parking, and the order still wasn't ready, if you can't adhere to the times you set, change them. Also shouldn't take anyone 4 minutes to bag two containers either

I have been ordering here since they have opened. The quality of the food seems to have gone down semi recently, I think it’s because Von isn’t around to supervise what’s going on. The smash burgers have gotten super thin and spread out while the buns have gotten smaller.
I have tried a couple non burger items as I kept getting disappointed by their burgers recently, the buffalo wrap was fantastic the first time I got it when it was first introduced and the most recent time the breading was completely soggy and just fell off the chicken and was just mush. I ordered garlic parmesan fries which were my favorite and they came in an inch of oil that I had to drain out of the container, the fries were drenched and soggy they were inedible.
I really hope they get one top of these quality control issues as I love supporting local businesses.

I ordered a burger for takeout and they told me the wait was 30 mins. I live really close, so after waiting the 30mins I got my food and by the time i got home (a 6 minute drive) my meal was cold. My fries were stale, patty was dry and seasoned plainly and buns seemed like they were straight out of the package. I think their food is good when fresh, no doubt, but $19 for what I got is crazy. I just wished they had better timing because this was not the first time it happened to me :(

I was in town for work and looking for a good spot nearby to grab a quick bite, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon Chef Von & Mom! I ordered the smash burger, their pulled pork fries, and the honey mustard wings, and everything was absolutely fantastic.
The smash burger was amazing. Juicy, generously sized, with perfectly cooked onions and crispy, flavorful bacon. The wings were a great starter, crispy and coated in a delicious honey mustard sauce. Definitely a sign of the good things to come.
But what really stole the show were the pulled pork fries. Incredible! The meat was tender and packed with flavor, the sauce was just perfect, and the fries were cooked to crispy perfection.
And if the food alone is not enough to convince you, the service will! I received such a warm welcome, probably the friendliest service I’ve had in a long time. The woman at the counter was wonderful, and it is clear they really care about their customers.
All in all, this was an amazing experience, and I would recommend Chef Von & Mom to anyone passing through Scranton looking for some seriously good food.

Chef Von and his mom’s burgers were absolutely delicious! My husband and I are Next Level Chef fans, so this was such a special treat especially since they are not that far from our home town. We even got to meet Chef Von’s mom — she was an absolute delight. Great food, great people, unforgettable experience!

What a freaking burger!! Driving through and searched for a place to grab a quick bite and the Next Level Chef won us over. Got the double LA, add tomato lettuce and pickle. The reviews are really telling the truth, burgers are to die for. Would have preferred a ranch or garlic aioli with the garlic parm fries but I didn’t ask so no stars off for that. Overall WOULD RECOMMEND!

After watching Next Level Chef and finding out Chef Von was just an hour away, I added this to my list. Came up to eat before a nearby concert, and was so glad we stopped in.
The food was DELICIOUS. I got the peanut butter smash burger, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in my life. And if they ask to upgrade the fries, its worth it.
100% will stop in again whenever im in the area
