The most delicious Crab Bisque and Maryland Crab Rolls! The beer is made in house and extremely fresh. Mary, our server was very friendly, helpful, and informative. The atmosphere is fun and inviting.

I visited Cooper's for the first time. I was very impressed by the menu. The food was served hot and delicious. Our server was very attentive and all our orders were accurate. I was blown away by the fun and interesting decor. I'm looking forward to going back with the rest of my family.

Very cool experience if you’re in Scranton. Coopers had a long history and beautiful restaurant.

The food was good and their home brews are delicious. For fans of The Office, they also have a very large gift shift and memorabilia.

Brought 17 people to the restaurant on commencement weekend. They were great at accommodating the large group. Our server Owen was excellent. Even dealing with 3 children. The food was excellent and the chocolate mousse was delicious. I would recommend Coopers to anyone coming to the Scranton area and I recommend you ask for Owen.

The great seafood restaurant in the area. The walls grabbed my intention the most. There are so many interesting things to see, it's like the museum. I enjoyed the food with the great atmosphere. Highly recommend

We visited Cooper's Seafood House on May 10th, 2025, to celebrate Mother’s Day. The restaurant itself was incredibly clean and filled with fun nautical decor and unique attractions. It definitely offers a memorable atmosphere. We were seated right away and offered drinks promptly, which set a great tone for our visit.

While the clams and shrimp were fresh and flavorful, we were unfortunately disappointed with a few of the other dishes. The fish and chips and the crab pretzel lacked the flavor and quality we were hoping for. On the bright side, our beverages were excellent, and the overall experience was enhanced by the inviting ambiance. Thank you and we will be visiting soon in the future.

C’mon, who doesn’t love Cooper’s Seafood House. They have been crushing it since 1948. You don’t last 77 years in business by accident. Stop by today to pick up some of their signature Maryland Crab Bisque. This is worth travel across multiple states for. You can also grab it frozen along with their other soups and dips in the gift shop cooler. I have been enjoying Coopers since 1984. Been weaning by “gator bites badge” over the years when I order that appetizer. So many great dishes from Cajun catfish, Maryland crab roll, and everything in between. Besides the traditional and classic seafood dishes, they have the unique like frog likes. Aside from great food, they have a large beer list of over 200 beers. Enjoy you food on the deck, in the large bar dining area or walk down the large hall of fame full of history as well as a few video games into the multiple large dining areas. Always great food and service. That great customer service was epitomized by Josh C. today. He started when he was 16 and still serving great food to his customers with a great big smile and warm conversation. They do it right at customers. Treat yourself today or celebrate a special occasion.

There's no better way to fuel up before the Office 5K than getting [seafood] fettuccine alfredo from Cooper's.

They really take pride in their connection w/ the Office TV show, esp. their well-appointed Office-themed gift shop.

My wife and I sat in the train room, and were seated at a booth featuring a primer on the USN Scranton submarine...Be sure to check out their decor!

Saturday night must have been an off-night for the kitchen staff. Let's start with the appetizer, we ordered the Crabby pretzel. The appetizer was over seasoned, it had a very salty taste. My wife ordered the crab cakes for dinner which she liked very much. I ordered the orange roughy wrapped around crab imperial. The crab imperial was not crab imperial. Crab imperial should be lump crab meat not strings of crab meat. The imperial was also very dry and grainy in texture. Both the orange roughy and crab have a delicate taste which was not present.

All in all this was a disappointing experience topped off by the bill that had on it a suggested tip exceeding 33% of the total bill.
