Cooper's Seafood House

The food was terrible fried calamari waitress said was the number one item sent back. Take it off the menu. Don’t even have shrimp cocktail or clams. Everything was over fried like the atmosphere, but the food is awful. Unless you want frozen fried food overcooked don’t go there.

My wife and I stumbled on this place in Scranton and it was awesome. Food was great, the environment was fun.

I was at Cooper’s on the afternoon of August 18, 2025 celebrating my birthday. While I was there, I went to the shop to find a Dundee best bartender award trophy. An employee, Nicole heard me asking about it and she helped me check for one. After searching with me and discovering there was not one, she called Jack Cooper telling him that I was looking for one. He immediately went to his distributor and had one made and brought it back to the restaurant before I even finished my lunch!!! This is service above and beyond, especially for an owner to take it upon himself to make this happen. Thank you Coopers for great food, service, helpful and involved employees!!

You would not believe how good the food was. It was super moist and tender Seafood. Tasted great and large portion.

All the ocean and pirate themed decor was wonderful. Sooo much to look at.

But be forewarned !!! This is our first trip to Coopers in many years since moving back from Florida. The food was outstanding and the waitress was top notch. However, I can understand small businesses charging a processing fee on a credit card. Or even a business of this size charging a processing fee up to a certain amount spent. But when your total bill is in the hundreds and you get charged a 3% processing fee on your credit card, well let’s just say the entire experience was ruined. Unforgettable

Coopers is an amazing place for any family!!!My family and I travel over an hour away from NY to enjoy your delicious food!!! Our server today was Becky and she was absolutely wonderful!!! She fits right in with the Coopers atmosphere!!!!! I'm sure we will be back soon!!!!! You guys never disappoint!!!

Had the cool experience of eating at the top of the lighthouse! Request it the next time you go. Great service, food and fun environment!

We attempted to order DoorDash for my father-in-law, and the restaurant stopped doing take out because “The kitchen doesn’t like preparing takeout when they’re busy. It takes too long to package things.” That is unacceptable for an established restaurant. We live in a beach town with a million extremely busy seafood restaurants, and this NEVER happens. Do better…

The most delicious Crab Bisque and Maryland Crab Rolls! The beer is made in house and extremely fresh. Mary, our server was very friendly, helpful, and informative. The atmosphere is fun and inviting.

I visited Cooper's for the first time. I was very impressed by the menu. The food was served hot and delicious. Our server was very attentive and all our orders were accurate. I was blown away by the fun and interesting decor. I'm looking forward to going back with the rest of my family.

The food was good and their home brews are delicious. For fans of The Office, they also have a very large gift shift and memorabilia.

Seafood Crepes were absolutely amazing !!!

Brought 17 people to the restaurant on commencement weekend. They were great at accommodating the large group. Our server Owen was excellent. Even dealing with 3 children. The food was excellent and the chocolate mousse was delicious. I would recommend Coopers to anyone coming to the Scranton area and I recommend you ask for Owen.
