As a delivery driver, I have had a long wait multiple times. I only accept orders that compensate me for my wait from this location.

I was excited to try food from this restaurant, especially being from NY. I went to eat my tostones and nearly broke a tooth. This picture does not do it justice. They are extremely old and over cooked. (Probably reheated multiple times) Absolutely horrible! I am very disappointed.

I came here today because I was craving empanadas King’s empanadas are honestly some of the best in the area, easily a 9/10. That’s why this experience was so disappointing.

I came on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was NOT what I expected at all. The lady working had zero customer service. No greeting, no smile, on her phone the entire time, handing out orders with no care or attention. On top of that, there were no empanadas ready everything was empty. I’m being realistic and honest here because I’ve been a loyal King’s customer for a long time. This is not the standard I’m used to from this place.

Respectfully, something needs to be done. Customer service matters just as much as the food. All customers ask for is good food and a simple smile. Right now, this experience was a big letdown.

The girl at the front tried to steal my birthday present. I left it on a table last night on accident, and when we called today to ask she just hung up. I called two more times and she hung up without saying anything at all both times, not even the usual empanada king line. My friend went to the store to ask if she had the gift and she pretended not to know English. She eventually gave my friend my gift but the entire interaction was baffling to say the least. Who steals a gift 4 days before Christmas?

The girl at the front stole my girlfriend’s birthday present. I called to ask if they had it and she just hung up. My girlfriend called twice as well, to asked if she took it, and she just hung up again not saying anything.

Very nice small place not crowded the food is very good staff was friendly and the prices were even better. So many menu options and fast service

bad food, I bought 11 empanadas, 3 cheese ones and 8 chicken and cheese ones, they all came out broken, deformed, I sent a message and they just told me that the store manager would get in touch, which she never did, so today I went to the store and showed the girl, she simply told me that the fryer had a problem, it's that simple, the problem is yours, a huge disregard

The food at Empanada King is overall great, but this particular order and service wasn't. Yesterday, 09/28/25, my parents ordered a set of chicken empanadas and only chicken; it was for a family gathering later that evening. When my mom was sharing them out she cracked open all to make sure, and there was beef... We specifically wanted chicken a member of the family is allergic to beef and it so happens to also go against our religion. We prefer not to have beef. When I called the shop for a manager to explain that and ask why would your employee substitute without saying anything?? the lady who answered hung up and wouldn't pick up again... I would like to have this resolved and receive compensation, because I think I would still eat at Empanada King.

EDIT: Called again and finally got an answer. I talked with the same lady, all she did was listen and hang up. didn't take my calls afterwards. Personally, I won't be going back now. Whatever my parents do is up to them, but I won't be eating food from here.

I ordered $32 dollars worth of food. A number 5 combo, 3 addition PIZZA Empanadas and I specifically specified pizza. Which should have cheese AND sauce. My gf also wanted cheese steak fries but the lady said she couldn't it and was only doing empanadas. Which I then asked how if I was still gonna get fries due to the combo? If she couldn't just add the things to the combo fries or at least add some cheese sauce but no she couldn't do that. My gf was pissed because all she wanted was cheese steak fries. When I got home to my brothers, the pizza ones werent even pizza they were just straight cheese. My one brother didnt even eat his 2 empanadas because he doesn't like straight cheese. I literally ordered pizza ones. (I have ordered the pizza ones before so I know the difference) So ended up having to throw 2 and half empanadas away because nobody ate them. The lady explained to me that since she was closing soon (this was around 3 o clock today on Labor Day) she couldn't make my gf's cheese steak fries. I'm Puerto Rican and I speak perfect Spanish so there was no language barrier as I talked to the lady in Spanish since clearly she was having trouble understanding my GF. Entiendo que ella estaba haciendo un monton de ordenes pero no es excusa. If you guys were gonna have a limited menu you should state it outright. And don't tell me a plain cheese empanada is the same as a pizza one because it sure isn't. The other food was good like usual just the experience of having 3 wrong empanadas and my gf not able to get her food is what disappointed me. We used to come here all the time but now we barely do, exactly because of this. Every Single Time, there's something up with our order. At this point we might just not come here at all. Wish yall the best luck.

I loved the food was amazing I ordered for my job DONT do that they didn't separate them so we had to cut them open to see what they were we tried calling they unplugged their phone and hung up 7 times we called if your ordering by yourself or with family great but not when you work in health care and for you co workers everything was right besides my soda which was fine but I'm honestly not happy with how I got hung up on it was rude and unprofessional I spent over 80$ which isnt bad for what we got smoothie was fantastic im just really upset about being hung up on and they refused to speak to me

Waited for over an hour. Asked at the 45 minute mark about food and was told to wait. Caught an attitude at an hour about me waiting. Kept saying the same stuff and did not want to let us get a refund and leave.

Friendly and fresh service

A quick little stop as we were walking in the area , food smelled so good thought we'd give it a try . Glad we did. Everything was good and very fairly priced
