We stopped by for lunch and we both ordered burgers and a side of onion rings. The burgers were superior, and the servings were huge. The price was reasonable. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because the server was clearly not particularly motivated. I definitely recommend this diner and would be happy to eat there again.

One of our favorite stops when visiting Scranton. Great diner fare with some awesome polish dishes like potato pancakes with applesauce or sour cream and Italian dishes like Prochetta. They also have vegetarian options like the Beyond Burger. We try to get to the Glider at least once a year.

I have not eaten anything at the Glider Diner that wasn't great. From the homemade cinnamon rolls in the mornings to the hot roast beef sandwiches and fries with gravy. This is one of my favorite place to eat.

Calm cozy diner. Really good classic food. Weight staff was very kind and everything came out at a decent time. Definitely gonna go again.
Seems to me if you’re a local you get quick service. Second time in over a year gave them second chance. Watched 3 tables seated after us get food, ate and paid gone. We were there one hour and ten minutes—just left money on table and left. Won’t be back
