“I can not thank this Bakery enough for saving my son's birthday dinner. We are traveling and due to an unexpected reschedule, the cake I had ordered was now in a city 2 hours away. I phoned them with 3 HOUR NOTICE, asking to text them as my son was in the vehicle. WITHOUT HESITATION he obliged and had a cake ready for my son in 2.5 HOURS with a semi custom request. The kindness of this bakery is above and beyond and why I only support small businesses. Without their kindness, my son's birthday dinner would have been a disappointment, as all he asked for while on vacation for his birthday was a hamburger and Minecraft cake. I hope all who read this review will share my experience and support them with all of your bakery needs ❤️“

As I sat there, I thought about how we've been coming here for as long as I've been alive — and what feels like my mom’s whole lifetime. “The wife and I had the breakfast buffet, and was very pleased!! Carl is a hoot!! Fresh made omletts done to your order on the flat top!! Great variety of breakfast foods, AND a pitcher of Starbucks coffe on your table!! Very clean, very nice staff, and very well priced!! A nice little gem of a breakfast buffet hidden in the Hilton!!“

“10 out of 10 recommend Fork N Bowl. My grandson has celiacs and it was a stress free experience. No worries about cross contamination because EVERYTHING is gluten free. The staff was so friendly and patient. Did I mention how delicious the food is?“

“We had one evening in Scranton, and I was the one grabbing sweets for our groups dietary restrictions. I called Donna and asked if she would be able to accommodate. She went above and beyond! The GF-Vegan Cupcakes I ordered were waiting in a box for me, and she was so patient since we came right at closing time. Her flavors were DIVINE! The love and care that went in to our treats was something special! I love pretty food, but what a win when the food tastes better than it looks! Thank you Donna! Everyone, not just the dietary folks, were in love with your food! If we are in the Scranton area again, we’ll be sure to order again!!“

“This is a classic, great spot. It is not a regular place for us but it's worth the drive. It has been around for years but they always keep it fresh! It never disappoints! The food menu has something for everyone and has unique offerings. The whiskey, beer and drink menu will have you coming back to try something new every time! We happened to stop in during their Octoberfest and I enjoyed the wurst platter with rotkohl and spätzle. 👌“

“We were in the area visiting Lackawanna State Park. On a super hot day of hiking we decided to google ice cream in the area which brought us to Mannings. I got the Raspberry chocolate truffle - the absolute best ice cream I have ever eaten. Loved seeing the pictures and reading the story of the history and the process of the this family run business. We drive RT 81 a few times a year and we will be getting off the exit to have a break and get a cone. 😋“

“I have been eating Ferri's Pizza since I was a kid ( currently 50 ), this is my all time favorite pizza, totally unique taste & always consistent, never changed in my 50 years of life. The inside of the shop is a totally awesome step back in time, I'm totally huge on nostalgia. Definitely 5 stars from me!!“

“We went on a Saturday night waited an hour and sat down at 8pm Waitress comes over for our order I say porterhouse She says we are out I ask for prime rib She say we are out I ask for bone in ribeye Guess what WE ARE OUT OF ALL 3 On an early Saturday night they shouldn’t be out of the 3 best dishes Manger said sorry 😢“

“I got 2 trays of red pizza with anchovies & the pizza was Absolutely Scrumptious. Pizza was phenomenal. Loved it! Everything was perfect even though I ordered out. Order was ready when I got there & just the smell, I couldn't wait to get home to have a piece. Sheer Perfection.“
