We love hacienda volcan. Our favorite place for horchata, birria tacos, and nachos! Definitely check them out. Online ordering is super easy, inside the restaurant is clean and cute for a date night!
First time at Hacienda Volcan and I'll definitely be back. Food was not only tasty but also bountiful. Everything was truly authentic and it tastes as such. Clearly labeled gluten free dishes were a nice touch. Margaritas were massive, but go for the classic on the rocks vs frozen - frozen was much too sweet and was a $3 upcharge. Only gripe was the restaurant was pretty low volume but our meals took close to 45 minutes to arrive.
Terrible place. After 45 minutes they didn’t even start our dinner. 2 burritos not difficult and the place only had 3 tables besides ours. We paid for our drinks and left as they didn’t start our meal. We would not have left if they told us that that started cooking it.
Great Mexican cuisine in South Side. My wife and I enjoy their margaritas, burritos, and birria tacos. Get the guacamole it's fantastic.
Awesome food. You get A LOT for your money. Great service. Beautiful interior. Best Mexican food around. No need to go anywhere else.
Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
Food is great. Hot and tasty, one the best Mexican restaurants I've been too in a long time. Definitely try it.
Amazing food! The frozen lime marg is outstanding!
Excellent Mexican food; The Volcán sauce is delicious.
Food here is wonderful!
Love this place. One of my favorites. The family who works there are amazing and always happy to see us when we come back! We paid about $122 with tip for all you see. 5 sodas included. Nacho, 3 steak tacos, 4 tacos that you dip in juice, fries, 2 shrimp cocktails, & 5 bottles of soda!

Although they’ve been around for a while, I just recently found them and love the place! The food is delicious and fresh and authentic, and the staff and owners are friendly and welcoming. The decor is amazing hand carved chairs, artwork that depicts the village their family came from. My last visit we took some friends for their first meal there and they’re as much in love with it as we are!!!
If you live in Pa this is one of the most authentic Mexican cuisines there is
The food and the portions were good, but I have had alot better with faster service. it seems like they attend to take out before in house. There were 5 tables when we arrived. two tables were served and the one table was waiting for more people. so a total of 24 people in the restaurant. It took over an hour for us to receive our food. The waiter was not very attentive. He didn't see if we would like our drinks refilled till our food arrived. it's not like they were busy. we could see the front desk from where we sat and most of the time the wait staff stood there talking with eachother. We finally went up and asked when the order would be ready as we were ready to leave and go elsewhere. for the amount of people, it should not have taken that long to prepare the food. The one large table with multiple kids looked like they were getting antsy as well. Take care of in house first.
Best Mexican restaurant in the area. Food is authentic and delicious. It is family owned and they are all courteous and polite. Highly recommended.
