If the food wasn’t so consistently good, I honestly wouldn’t bother coming here. The bartender is repeatedly rude, dismissive, and unwilling to accommodate even simple requests. It creates an unwelcoming environment that makes it hard to actually enjoy the otherwise great food and decent atmosphere. Service should matter just as much as the menu.
Doesn’t feel like there are many great taverns left in this country, but Jack’s one of the few last gems around. The ribs are to die for. Solid cocktail menu. Good beer on tap. Great atmosphere. The neighborhood seems to come through to drink together. Wonderful place.
Jack's is one of our favorite spots in NEPA. It has such a relaxing and cozy atmosphere, with amazing food and cocktails! The meatball and caesar wedge are two of our favorites. They also have fun trivia nights.
