I ordered online and the system updated the address incorrectly. Upon calling them I was told my order was not through yet and id have to get a call back. I called 5 times to get the same answer until I received a call back stating my order was ready. Each time I called they could not change the address correctly for me and I requested the order be canceled. Argued for almost 25 minutes and finally got my order canceled. Very unprofessional and will never order from them agai.

I want to leave this place a good review, but because of what has happened the last few times I have ordered I just can’t. I have been ordering from this place for years, if I ordered a quart of something whether it’s Chicken and Broccoli or LoMein I would receive their court size container packed to the brim. A Quart was always enough to feed two adults and two children. Ever since Covid they have began to chince on the quantity and quality. I have slowly experienced their cutting corners and continue to raise the price of their food. I recently ordered a Quart of Shrimp Chow Mein and a Quart of Wonton Egg Drop Soup. Upon pulling the Chow Mein out of the bag I knew it was light upon grabbing it, but holy cow, when I saw it I thought I was robbed. It wasn’t even half way filled and was only two servings. To top it off, it was 90% onions. Where’s the bok choy and cabbage? And I only received 12 tiny shrimp. Very disappointing, I feel like they put a pints worth into a larger container. And then the quart of wonton egg drop soup, it only contained 4 wontons. 4 is just a joke. Highway robbery. I get it, there’s a million Chinese restaurants around and you guys probably took a hit with all of the construction going down in that parking lot over the last year, but don’t take it out on your customers. QQ and Great Wall are just as close. All it takes is one phone call to the dept of health and your lives can be turned upside down. Straighten up, get back on track, and stop ripping your customers off.

It's really a take out chinese restaurant, but I think it's one of the best in the city, for the taste, portion, pleasant staff and definitely the price!

I just wish they would bring back the homemade duck sauce in the little plastic containers. Otherwise a great spot, staff is friendly. The food is always fresh , delicious and prepared in a timely manner.

Great customer service and even better food. My order was ready right on time, and everything was packed neatly. I ordered the chicken lo mein and spring rolls — both delicious! I’ll definitely be back next week.

Best Chinese food I’ve had since moving to Scranton. The dumplings were perfectly pan-fried, and the hot and sour soup had the perfect kick. You can tell they use fresh ingredients. Love it here!

Went in just before closing and they were still so welcoming. The gentleman behind the counter didn’t rush me at all. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken — crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of sauce. Five stars.

Had dinner here with my parents, and we all loved it. My dad said it reminded him of the Chinese food he had growing up. We ordered orange chicken, lo mein, and egg drop soup. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Highly recommend!

Stopped by on a whim and was blown away! I got the General Tso’s chicken with fried rice and an egg roll — everything was packed with flavor. The staff was super polite and even gave me some recommendations for next time. Definitely coming back!

I’ve been ordering from King Star for months now, and they never disappoint. The food always arrives hot and fresh, and their sesame chicken is absolutely addictive. Friendly delivery guys too – makes the whole experience even better.
