Unfortunately Levels on Linden is closed due to property ownership changes. It was a very elaborate location with nooks and corners to hang out located on all 4 floors. Levels will be sorely missed.

I would give this restaurant zero stars but it makes me choose one. It's taken a bit to find the words and fully process this situation. On Friday 1/08/21 I went into this establishment and experienced one of the worst things ever as a person of color (while with others of different color as well). We sat in this practically vacant restaurant; there were probably about 10 other patrons. Myself and group ordered our drinks and food at the same time to be considerate of the time we spent there and efficient for our server. About 10 minutes passed and our server came back with two out of the three drinks we ordered and informed us that since we were going to be paying with cash we had to pay before receiving our third drink and food. Our interpretation was that they just expected us to pay for the drinks (since most bars usually take payment for drinks if you don't open a tab) and we agreed and offered payment for our drinks. Five more minutes passed, and we refrained from touching our drinks while waiting for the last drink. Our server then brought our complete check for food and drinks to us with and informed us that the manager said we had to pay for everything up front because they didn't want to risk us leaving without paying our bill. That took me by surprise so I asked another patron (who happened to be a white man) if he had to pay for his salad and beer before being served. He laughed and said he hadn't paid yet. I don't know who runs this business or who the manager reports to, but if a business has security at the door scanning ID, they should feel secure enough that any people regardless of their skin color won't leave without paying 50$ check split between 3 guests. After learning that the other customer who happened to be white wasn't asked to pay before receiving service, coupled with the fact that they directly told us there was concern about us leaving without paying for our service, it is clear that this was solely based on discrimination which is unethical and unacceptable. Especially with today's politically charged environment and the recently awakened attention to BLM and racial injustice one would think businesses would be more conscious of how they treat guests, especially those of color. This incident was unacceptable, embarrassing and dehumanizing and I feel the business needs to be held accountable for the clearly biased treatment of their guests.

Scranton welcomed us with opened arms and introduced us to this lovely bar. Unfortunately, due to COVID this place was empty and not, as the kids call it, “LIT.” The food was pretty great and the water was refreshing. Friendly staff, good food, and reasonable prices. Will have to come back when COVID is defeated!

We've heard it before, I'll say it again it's a shame that the lowest rating is one (1) star. CV-19 has stressed everyone out I try to support local one-off establishments, this should NOT be one of them! Run for the exits don't even bother! My friend was totally harassed by the overweight overpaid staff everything on YELP is true about this 1-Star disgrace --- My only regret is I DIDN'T read the reviews before my friend and I spent our hard earned money at this dump. So many LEVELS of bull$hit (staff outright rude & confrontational!!!) reminds me of an old 1980s street brawl bar where you want to come BACK in with your best friends and JOHN WAYNE the place, thereby doing all of NEPA a service. So glad I moved out of this horrible area 20 years ago LEVELS reminded me why! How is this place even in business???

If you want to be mistreated and skullfuc#ed from an angry, rude, and psychotic disproportioned 23 year pale stick with glasses and sides of beef for legs, then visit levels bar in Scranton, because there really isn't anything better than the waitresses at a down on its luck business that is hurting for patrons, treating you like you are the one who should be thankful for the opportunity to enter. Note: if you do enter, take the waitress who at least acknowledges and greets you as a guest, instead of taking her daddy issues out on you, otherwise known as the minimum expectation upon entering a business establishment.

Great food, the boneless buffalo bites and loaded fries hit the spot. And didn't need a reservation for open seating like next door. Great waiter too!

This bar is good on some days. It's a give or take depending on the day of the week

Been gone a while. Was living in New York City for school. The clubs there were well put together, also have music videos synced up to the DJ, real upscale feeling. Not sure how the DJs do that. I told my girls Hey! We have a place like this in Scranton! I wanted to bring my city girls here to my home grounds. I come back home, door man was rude, drinks weak, I have no idea what happened to the DJ but the TVs are just broadcast channels now and the sound is bad, very low par. I had a little fun at first but the place is just a frat party now, definitely not on par as it use to be. Service was very slow downstairs. Upstairs, 1 bartender for an entire club. I use to be able to compare it to a city club, but, it's just frat fest now. Sad Scranton. :( My friend told me it reminds her more and more of a place called Ali? Never been I'll save my nights out for the city now.

Never.. ever open a tab here. If your going out drinking bring cash because the bartenders like to take advantage and throw random drinks on your tab, then fight with u about being properly refunded
