Not for nothing, but 3 out of the handful of times I’ve been there, staff isn’t the friendliest. I know everyone has a different personality but the guy at the register today literally threw my debit card back to me after having paid. I was alone. Now if I wanted to, I could have said something but I didn’t. I just won’t go back.

I have always loved going here & the food is great. Today’s lunch experience was terrible. Our order was not placed by the young man who stepped in to take it. We waited over 40 minutes for turkey sandwiches & then he put a muffin on our table (there were 2 of us) & said “Pick on this while you wait.” When the bill came, the muffin was included on it! Our original server who was a sweet girl, told us she was very sorry for the oversight that she wasn’t told we about this. She was kind enough to refund us for the cost of the muffin, and the young man overheard us speaking to each other. He then said “let’s talk about this outside.” When I asked him why he never put our order in he told me that they were just really busy and that we should understand when things like this happen. I told him that we should’ve been given an apology and he told us that we were “bringing bad energy to him.” I’ve never had an experience like this at a restaurant in my life. And I won’t be returning anytime soon even though the food was good & and the rest of the staff were very kind. I think management should have a conversation with him about the way he treats customers. He brought bad energy to us today!

I've been here 4-5 times Breakfast is amazing, I didn't care for their famous tuna salad when I had it last year. Pretty tasty latte My daughter was disappointed with the avocado toast having raw spinach rather than sautéed. The cheese grits I had were amazing, we also shared a brie croissant that was so, so goooooood

We came yesterday and absolutely loved it! Breakfast was phenomenal. Thier lattes are incredible. Great prices and very nice service. Definitely planning to be back and highly recommend!

Alicia was the BEST server...so attentive, bright smile, great attitude.
there was only one chef on today because the other is on vacation so they did a limited menu ... but my meal was the best thing I've had the whole time I have been back east.
so simple...clean flavors... delicious!!!
I got the Riley's sunrise pita.. it was seriously so so good. so simple, but the flavors just worked!
then my hubby and I had to split the Poppy... same! phenomenal... the flavors seemed like the might be odd but it just WORKED. kind of a nod to brie and jam - but also with the egg and avocado?! insanely good
and the ambiance is just so inviting!!!! highly recommend breakfast here!!!
