Maroni's Pizza St. Ann Street

The food here is definitely pretty good but the service is absolutely terrible. Placed an order at 3:30pm to be told it would be an hour an 45min wait. Which I get and is understandable, things happen and places are busy, but when I show up 2 hours later to be told only a few more minutes, and ended up sitting there 20 plus extra minutes. I'm almost positive they didn't start the order until I walked in the door. If I wanted to sit there and wait the whole time I wouldn't have placed the order in advance. Would definitely recommend the pizza but maybe place the order a day in advance to ensure that it is ready on time. Also beware they charge a 3% card fee even when asked over the phone what the total is with card ended up paying a bit extra since they wanted to leave that fee out.

By far the worst pizza I have ever had. I absolutely do not get the hype with this pizza! It tastes like frozen pizza. Saying it tastes like frozen pizza is an insult to frozen pizza in all actuality. People that think this is the best pizza ever wouldn’t know what good pizza was if they got smacked in the face with a slice!

Their cold hoagies are all i have tried. They are reasonably priced and the roll is nice a soft, and freshly made to order.

Placed an order one time and arrived for pick up and the lady at the counter was rude when saying our card reader is down and can't accept card payments.
I could have stopped for cash if I was informed when I placed my order.

Just like you remember it. New owners but you wouldn't know it.

The sauces and cheese were a bit salty and had a soggy texture, which I didn't particularly enjoy. There was a also a fee to use credit card, wish I knew that before hand, but it was not a huge deal.

I'm used to NYC pizza this is different. Instead of slices you get cuts which are smaller. The cuts are from a square pie. I wasn't aware of the difference. Also it tastes like they bake the crust 1st then put it back in the oven with the sauce & cheese.

Take out... have not been here in several years due to our last few visits ...when pizza was disappointing. We heard the pizza was back to it's old greatness so thought we would give it another try. The pizza was perfect.. purchased both round and square (wished we ordered pepperoni when we saw that coming out of the oven, it looked delicious) both were just like we remembered!

Wow went inside to eat. First time there. Phone rang non stop. People came in non stop. It was 4 in afternoon.
Had italian hoagie cooked in oven so good. We also had round pizza different but so good. Prices are very good. Nice lady working had everything under control. Phones, tables, birthday party, register. Hard workers there.
