I can not thank this Bakery enough for saving my son's birthday dinner. We are traveling and due to an unexpected reschedule, the cake I had ordered was now in a city 2 hours away. I phoned them with 3 HOUR NOTICE, asking to text them as my son was in the vehicle. WITHOUT HESITATION he obliged and had a cake ready for my son in 2.5 HOURS with a semi custom request. The kindness of this bakery is above and beyond and why I only support small businesses. Without their kindness, my son's birthday dinner would have been a disappointment, as all he asked for while on vacation for his birthday was a hamburger and Minecraft cake. I hope all who read this review will share my experience and support them with all of your bakery needs ❤️

We got our wedding cake from Minooka Pastry Shop and it was DELICIOUS---we got tons of compliments on it. The banana nut flavor was especially yummy! Can attest that the cake was flavorful, had great texture, the icing was to die for---and we had a lovely time picking out the cake & going over the details with Joe, it was a really nice experience. Also have very good things to say about their customer service overall---we had to postpone our wedding for a few months because my mother passed away, and staff were incredibly kind, flexible, & gracious during a very difficult time. Can't recommend Minooka enough for baked goods, including anyone reading this who's looking for desserts for their wedding.

Joe at Minooka did a phenomenal job providing the desserts for our wedding. We did a small cake and an assortment of other sweets and they were all delicious! We got so many compliments on the desserts, many were gone before my husband and I even made it to the dessert table. He did an excellent job decorating our cake based on the pictures provided, we almost didn't want to cut it. My husband's uncle was especially pleased with the chocolate cream pie we ordered with him in mind. In addition to being tasty, everything was an excellent price. I would highly recommend using Minooka Pasty Shop for all your sweet needs.

I stop going here for a while now, because of the rude service. But stopped in for eclairs and pastries yesterday, the pastries were supposed to be cherry filled turned out to be strawberry 🍓 and some people are allergic to strawberry. Be more careful what you give your customers.
