If I recommend it, their sweets are wonderful. But what I don't recommend is the poor attention of the girl with blonde hair or blonde highlights! Yesterday he treated me contemptuously and that is no way to treat customers. I asked her if she was okay because of the way she was treating me badly and knocking over the display cases, and she told me that I was okay. I mean, I feel like I disrespected her as a customer because I was placing an order with her. If she is not willing to attend to various requests, I will quit her job. For my part, I will not go to the store again while she is there. They have to be a little more careful when hiring people in their businesses and give them customer service courses.

Always a win at Minooka! I’ve ordered pies and cakes for special occasions, and I’ve also dropped in for last-minute sweets from the display. Family and friends always compliment their desserts, and it has saved me tons of time with their easy online ordering. Their key lime pie has become a birthday tradition for my family, and the strawberry cake will probably be my daughter’s favorite birthday cake ever. The customer service is top notch, even on their busiest days like Pi Day and pickup for thanksgiving orders. My only suggestion would be to have a separate line for desserts ordered ahead on those busy days. I hope minooka continues to enjoy many more years of success with their delicious food and friendly service!Dietary restrictions: They have a designated gluten free freezer case with a great variety of desserts and breads. I’ve ordered gluten free cupcakes for a school party, and the teacher was impressed with how delicious they were!
I love these small old-timey bake shops that take pride in their products! I am a big fan of their Linzer cookies and Laffayettes. It was well worth the trip finding this hidden gem in Pittston!

We've been going to Minooka for birthday cakes for years and were thrilled to discover this while booking our wedding. The decorators matched our vision perfectly and it was delivered on time with care. It was also delicious as always. Yummy cake and great buttercream. I highly recommend Minooka to order birthday cakes from if you want to support a local business vs. the grocery store, well worth it.
