I went to the Mosh for Tots event on Saturday with my girlfriend for her first big show. We got there around 4:15 and donated 20 Tech Decks for the kids. We Moshed and 2 step during all 8 bands, and with 2 left to go, my girlfriend and I sat on the wall to rest. She laid down and put her jacket over her head — we had been moshing for six hours.

I tipped the bartender every time I got a bottle of water. I tipped the lady handing out food, and I tipped the nice person who painted my girlfriend’s and my face. We were just sitting there relaxing.

Then out of nowhere, the Dickson City police came over and told us they were getting complaints and that we were being kicked out. They wouldn’t tell us why or who complained. When my dad asked, they told him, “We aren’t allowed to tell you why — that’s how the cookie crumbles.”

As we were leaving, the cop at the door yelled for our right wrists so they could cut off our wristbands.

Moon tavern is great, a ton of different events and the service is great here. Crystal specifically is an amazing bar tender, if you get her as your bartender, you're in for a great night.

funny, no share button for a negative review? Guess I'll post it here. Regarding the ballroom: Doors open at SIX. It does not matter if soundchecks are still going on . Leaving people OUTSIDE IN THE COLD FOR AN HOUR is unacceptable. Turning off the share button for negative reviews also says a LOT.

Food and atmosphere was amazing….bartender was fantastic….and friendly….drinks were yummy….highly recommended !!!!

It was my first time visiting!!! Had the cheese steak wrap with all the fixings. Was a brilliant idea, best tasting chess steak I've ever had. Real steak finely chopped and fresh vegetables. Deep fried peroggies was like mini stuffed empinadas. BBQ Wings out of this world. Kudos to the Chef, friendliest staff; Eric, Jen, and Audrey made me feel at home!!! Will definitely be back.

I'm not a big fan of bar environments, but Moon Tavern was a great experience.

The parking was a bit confusing but otherwise fine. The bar is located inside a hotel but it's easy enough to find once you get inside.

Definitely come hungry, the portions are huge! The nachos and cheese can easily be split between 2 people, same with the basket of cheese fries we ordered.

Moon Tavern is great for a date night or going out with friends. Definitely check them out if you haven't already.

Moon Tavern is a hidden Gem. I’m an out of towner traveling for work and if ever come back to the area I won’t be going any place else. This place has it all and the staff go above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel at home. The food was delicious. I got the wings with the homemade hot sauce and my buddy got the pizza both were perfect and turns out they bake all there bread and prepare fresh dough daily for there food. Whether it’s just you, some friends or the family this place is perfect. It’s located behind a hotel just for a heads up. Don’t let that confuse you it’s 100% worth it. Thank you Moon Tavern for being so good to me.
