We went for the atmosphere, which absolutely delivered, but holy crap, the food blew us away. The drinks were great and a lot of fun, the theme/presentation in general was amazing, staff was fantastic, and the food was some of the best I've ever had. We got the Poultrygeist chicken sandwich and the Mac Daddy burger and I'm still thinking about it an hour later. I'm devastated we live in Connecticut and can't come here more often. I mentioned to my wife that it may be worth making the four-hour-one-way-drive just to come back some day, she didnt disagree, so who knows what the future holds. Prices were incredibly reasonable. Cocktails and entrees for two was less than $70. Go here. Go out of your way to go here. It will not disappoint.

This place is awesome! My boyfriend and I come here like every other week for date night. The atmosphere is very gothic but thats the appeal! The food is delicious but for us Noir is definitely a drinks spot. The menu rotates all the time to have different things but their flatbreads are usually on point,and their French onion was great. Same with the drinks, they rotate every so often. Currently they have a pumpkin espresso martini that is so good it actually made me like coffee haha! I usually order their empress martini or the elixir of life, 10/10 would recommend if you like cooky stuff!
Update june 2025, went again and tried their gator flat bread, was so good but also decently spicy!

I've eaten at restaurants all over the damn country, and somehow one of my favorites is right here in Scranton. Get over to Noir Dark Spirits in The Ritz Theater. Hats off to Josh Balz and his team for delivering on atmosphere, staff, quality, and value. The theme is well -executed and amusing without being intrusive. The portions are generous and the spooky servers are attentive. They have good vegetarian options and non-alcoholic cocktails. Whether you're getting together the droogs for some of the old ultraviolence, breaking out the Black Book for some business deals, or entreating your favorite Queen of The Damned for the evening, Noir Dark Spirits is THE spot.
