Northern Lights was one of my most cherished places to go to in Scranton during college. The cafe is a super warm, welcoming, and calm environment. I've never had the food, but their coffee is always great. I have spent hours here doing homework and always leave looking forward to coming back! Also love the way they designed/decorated the place!

Coffee was good, biscotti was pretty shaky. Good seating options, service was friendly and prompt. Good option in this neighborhood.

Coffee is great both times I’ve went but unfortunately the young ginger hair girl working the cash register just seems so un-inviting, as if almost you are in a burden to her day. No greeting when walking up, just stares at you with no smile while you wait to figure out what you want to order. Felt rushed. Overall again, great coffee but not good service. I want to feel like I’m welcomed wherever I spend $7 or more on a coffee.

Trendy local coffee shop located in Scranton. If I were rating the vibe, atmosphere & overall experience, I would give it 5⭐️'s. A nice place to sit, read a book & enjoy a cup of coffee. However, my $8.00 iced coffee was just mid, leaving me disappointed.
UPDATED RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT - Thank you for your comment, just to clarify my iced coffee order was a large black iced coffee with an espresso shot. No extra add-on's other than the espresso, which ended up being $7.79. I appreciate your offer for me to read the extensive menu, but I only wanted an iced coffee, nothing more.
