I had made a reservation but was traveling from 2 hours away and arrived late. They were happily waiting and had our table ready. The service was friendly, helpful and fast! The ramen was so good I told my son he needs to get in to med school there so I can eat there more! My only complaint was the chairs weren't made for my wide hips. That being said once I got my food, I could have cared less. It was so delicious I would have sat on rocks!!!! I cannot wait to return to try more items on the menu!!!!!Parking: There was on street parking right across the street that we were lucky enough to find a spot. There was an open lot a few doors down, but I am unsure if that was permit parking or not.

The food here is truly amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a unique (and delicious) place to eat in the Scranton area! You can taste the passion they have for cooking in every dish, the ingredients are fresh and of high quality, and the portions are GENEROUS. The prices are more than fair for what you get; food made with soul and genuine care– that’s priceless. I’ve been here many a times and have not once left feeling unsatisfied…. or underfed. Yes, expect that you will be bringing home leftovers.

Not your traditional pho. It is different, very much. Closer to ramen than pho. The broth, or I should say sauce, was too sweet and thick. Overall, the place is decent and their salad was okay. Their great customer service compensated for the food so I give it 3 stars.

First time and it was a pleasant experience. Great hospitable and great ramen. Got the Double Spicy Pork ramen which was perfectly spicy to make my head sweat a bit. I would be cautious on this dish for most people who have low to middle level spicy threshold. Perfectly size bowl and ratios of the ingredients.

Top notch. Delicious Asian fusion in a comfortable open-air, contemporary setting. The service is great, the menu is drool-worthy and their drinks do not disappoint. You will need a reservation but it’s worth it. The Brussels sprouts were amazing…and I recommend trying a dish that includes their signature pickles.A great spot for a date night or a small group of friends/family.

My husband and I went there for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is great. The staff is incredible, our server, Steve, was super nice and helpful. The brussel sprouts and pork belly was by far my favorite food I’ve eaten anywhere! We really enjoyed the bao buns and noodle bowl. We will be returning soon!

We were happy to See that there is a local option for Korean food. We made a reservation for dinner today. We ordered four appetizers and two main entrees to get a feel for the menu. The pretzel was very good as well as the crab meat dip mostly, but the crab me dip had a bit of a propane/gas taste. The chicken wings were pretty good but did not have a lot of flavor, and could have used a bit more frying. The brisket balls came out looking delicious and we'll presented, but unfortunately there was very little brisket to be found inside. The kimchi was different but every self driven restaurant has different flavors. My wife enjoyed the spring rolls quite a bit, and I myself found them to be pretty delicious as well with the dress being perfect, A+. My wife got a sumo dog which she immediately did not like as it's the size of a Nathan's dog, had seaweed That was too thick for this meal and just wasn't enjoyable thing. I settled on the seafood Jjampong ( Love Spicey!) which had very underdone noodles, very monotone taste or spices/sambal, and very salty. I mentioned to the waitress the noodles being underdone and salty and she probably did not hear me due to the music and just walked away. I basically ate the seafood and couldn't really stomach the broth and noodles and now have a stomach ache, and cramps as I write this review. Service was very good other than that. The food could be amazing with some tweaks. I hate to be so critical especially since (GOOD) ethnic food is so rare in scranton but had high expectations which were unfortunately not met or even approached. Hopefully they will read this and take it to heart to just do better.Kid-friendliness: Music is quite loud, you would not be able to have any form of conversation and probably to loud for children. The music itself was good, eclectic mix.Parking: Parking is way easier at night. In the daytime very limited but there is public parking within a block or so.

Hands down the best food I've had in my 26 years of life. I was weary of the prices but the portions and quality shows for it. The Crab Rangoon Dip with the pretzel is out of this world. The pretzel alone was the prime example of an everything pretzel. The dip itself had a taste so great I couldn't compare it to anywhere or anything else.Kid-friendliness: Atmosphere is friendly, definitely wouldn't have a problem taking my kid here if I had one.

Absolutely delicious! Beautifully curated menu and flavors. So many homemade sauces and pickled items. The fried chicken was divine! And the maple whiskey sours were fabulous. I will definitely be back.

The staff is wonderful, especially the manager (his name escapes me). He was so friendly, personable and sincere. The food was delicious! Looking forward to going back.

The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are all excellent. I really enjoyed the cocktails, and the food was creative, flavorful, and amazingly cooked. Nice art, and friendly service too. Thank you!

Scranton is not a foodie stop; but, Peculiar is. Excellent service from start to finish by waiter (Steven?). Delicious eclectic food with an Asian flare. Highly recommended. Stop by.

Peculiar Truck, Peculiar Slurp, Peculiar Kitchen, Peculiar Takeover, the name doesn’t matter because the food speaks for itself! Chef has put so much thought into the menu and atmosphere. Super creative art with a fun, sophisticated vibe. We love the usual menu (shout out to the karaage and bao buns, which are absolute perfection), and look forward to the specials and takeovers. The recent Spanish takeover was a must. The menu was authentic yet combined the peculiar flair we love. Empanadas, tacos, and tostadas were our menu choices and each one was unique, fresh, and delicious! I am both curious and eager for the tasting menus rumored to be coming soon (make sure to follow them on social media for the most recent information). Other things to note: There is both inside and outside seating. Peculiar Kitchen is located within the city, Scranton requires pay to park.

Over $19 with a small tip gave me this takeout ramen. I wish they provided more broth. Tasted okay but have had much better elsewhere. For how much you get, I wouldn’t say it worth the money.

Wonderful, healthy, tasty Ramen. Also, they provided a bit of pulled pork for my dog. Needless to say, she and I both were quite content! Service was extraordinary!
