I could wait to come to Scranton PA and visit this pizzeria and oh was it worth it! It was the absolute best pizza I have had. I ate the whole thing and left no crumbs. I highly recommend the steak and cheese pizza. My mouth is watering just writing this review. My only regret is not get 2 boxes. The staff and management are so kind, warm, and welcoming. I can’t wait till my next visit. PAPPAS PIZZA SEE YOU SOON AGAIN! Thank you 🫶🏾
I stopped in today and got a pepperoni pizza — they only do personal-sized pizzas here, which I actually loved. The owner came around to check on everyone, which gave the place a really friendly, down-home vibe.
One of my favorite touches was the little model train running around the inside of the restaurant near the ceiling — it’s a fun detail you don’t see often anymore. Between the great pizza and the warm atmosphere, I’ll definitely be back.

My first time at Pappas and it is definitely my favorite pizza by far. We topped ours with sausage and green bell peppers. The sausage was slightly spicy and cooked crispy. The crust was amazing, crispy on the edges and cooked through to support the toppings. Highly recommended!
