We had a wonderful experience as always. The food was great. The service was excellent. We love this place. Highly recommended. The staff is especially nice.

I honestly don't know how this restaurant has such great reviews. The food is mediocre at best. The service was descent however. My husband and I drove 35 minutes to eat here because I saw it had such great reviews. Being of Italian descent and growing up in North Jersey I find it very hard to find good Italian food here in PA. (the Poconos area) We ordered the calamari which had to be imitation. It was so chewy that we both did not like it. My husband ordered the Pescatore and said it was just okay. I had the Chicken Florentine and that too was okay. Nothing delicious or great, just okay. I passed on dessert but my husband ordered the rice pudding, which was also just okay. We ordered two cappuccinos which were the absolute smallest cappuccinos I have ever seen a restaurant serve. I was pretty disappointed. I don't know what people consider to be good Italian food, but this was not it.

Pronto in Scranton is such a gem! The drinks were amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the calamari and spinach ravioli with vodka sauce, both were perfect. The cheesecake was the best way to finish the meal. This family-run restaurant makes you feel right at home and treats every guest like family. Highly recommend!
