A relaxing place west of a dead end street. Clean and bright, a wonderful place to meet friends and family.

A great spot tucked away out if site. Would recommend to anyone that's looking for relaxed outside atmosphere, good food, and some drinks/entertainment. I wish they had Cornhole or horseshoes. It would send this little gem over the top. I believe they will. It just makes too much sense. If you're looking for a new place to try. Make it Backstreet. I've read some bad reviews on service. I've received nothing but perfect service anytime I go. So I can't say anything outside of it being great.

Yesterday I wanted to go get dinner with my mother. Initially my mom called another restaurant that has outdoor seating and asked “May I bring my dog?”. They said they would ask and call back which never happened. We were on Keyser Avenue and I have always wanted to try Backstreets Tiki Bar so I told my mom to give them a call. We called and a wonderful lady on the phone immediately said “Absolutely!” No hesitation. That meant the world to me and how kind the owners and staff were to my mother and fur baby.Backstreets Tiki Bar has an amazing atmosphere. There is a lot of diversity in age range and it’s truly a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone. The food was phenomenal, the waitress I had was so kind with an awesome personality. Everything was beyond five stars and I recommend everyone in West Side/Keyser Valley to go check it out!! You will NOT be disappointed!

Enjoyed last night all around! Coconut shrimp with fries, tasty, crispy and more than enough for 2. Ceasars salad was excellent with fresh Parmigiano grated on top, enough for 3. Wife had bone in wings, her comment was extra crispy, as ordered, garlic parm was tangy yet tasty and mild sauce was slightly spicy and excellent! John couldn't have been a better host, greeted us and made sure we got seated at a table we preferred. Our server Kat was attentive and listened to our order and everything was spot on. Out door tiki bar is large and comfortable. Atmosphere is inviting and a jukebox is available for your choice of music. Thank you for a great evening and excellent food. Kudos to Mark, the chef, we will be back again, again and again!

First visit, heard great things about the sister location so decided to give this one a try.The good: very accessible but "out of the way" if that makes sense...at the end of a dead end, lots of parking on-street and at the sports field across. Can see issues if that field is being used, not sure if its active it not.Sat outside...large patio, lots of seating, large bar and covered area, setting up for live music when we were there. Wife had the black and blue burger, myself the "firebird"....good size portions, mine was excellent, her's so-so...more about that later. The bad: ignore the menu as posted here and on their site, we were handed paper menus (attached). A pretty basic bar menu. Burger order was taken with no "ask" of doneness....NHL level of well done came out.Pricing...we were slightly disappointed at the menu difference between the website and actual, but things change. But when the menu you hand us at the table doesn't match the bill.....Her burger: menu has 11.50, charged 14.50My firebird: menu has 14.00, charged 17.00No where mentioned is the upcharge to pay by credit card.Nowhere mentioned is the upcharge for fries (expected of course but should be stated). All in all...I think we will definitely give this place a second chance, but gonna wait a while til things settle more...
