Service was great phone had good flavor but way to much nodules very little beef and the meatballs were very tough almost had a sausage feel otherwise great bowl
Phenomenal food!
I love going here. Now I always get the same thing but one day I’ll get something different. I get the sandwich (pork), I am not a fan of their soup but it’s because I’m not a fan in general. My hubby loves it. My daughter gets some kind of strawberry boba milkshake thing from them and always finishes it. Normal from other places she never finishes the boba. Ordered 2 sandwiches, a boddle dish, shrimp roll (peanut sauce is good) and a drink and only took 15 minutes. That was to go.
Always great!
I got the Saigon special pho with beef tendons, absolutely delicious. the spring rolls were fresh and tender, and my wife loved her shrimp rice bowl. we will be coming back, I've got my eyes on the glass noodles and maybe a sandwich.
Delicious. I had the tempura shrimp. I was a little wary since they looked different, and if you're expecting Japanese style, you will be disappointed. However i REALLY liked them. They are different but in good ways. The shrimp is seasoned wonderfully. It had a kick, but even with my 0 level spice tolerance, it didn't hurt. It was just very flavorful. The breading, rather than being panko crumbs, is a spring roll wrapper. Which actually works incredibly well. We'll definitely be coming back.
This Vietnamese restaurant is inside a shopping mall but it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a healthier option downtown Scranton, or just don’t want cheese all over your food. I had the rice noodles bowl with the chicken option, and they made it gluten free. I also asked for a side of vegetables- it was a standard steamed broccoli and carrots. The noodles were fresh, good and tasty and came with a delicious gluten free spring roll, but the chicken pieces, though a good amount, were dryish (think they used breast instead of thigh or didn’t marinate) and I didn’t eat all of them, so I took off a star. The server was very nice and service was rapid. I would eat here again.
I've been here twice so delicious from the food to the tea the service is great big portions will definitely keep going back

Recently came back to Saigon Corner after coming here 2 years back, really such a beautiful & peaceful place to eat you definitely get a tranquil vibe when you’re sitting down there so if you’re looking to study or read between classes or what have you; grab something & relax here. The staff are also very accommodating & kind so props to them for making you feel at home!
Usually when I hit pho spots (I bounce back & forth between NEPA & MD) I ask if they have spring rolls with tofu instead of shrimp (I know tofu? But yeah trust me it’s good) so I was thrilled to see that Saigon Corner had these available! The spring rolls come cut in 4s & a side of peanut sauce, presentation looked very good ? was excited to dig in.
The flavor of the spring rolls was on point, a good minty taste to it (love biting into a spring roll & having the mint punch me in the mouth hah!) & the tofu was cooked perfectly! 5/5 as far as the spring rolls themselves go.
I then decided to try the peanut sauce (love peanut sauce it’s a must-dip if you’re gunna eat spring rolls).. this is where the appetizer as a whole fell a bit on the flat side; the sauce itself had actual chopped peanuts in it (good!) but tbh the thickness & flavor was a tad lacking. The consistency of the sauce was a little watery while the flavor was somewhat there I was hoping for a little more of a punch ? of pea-nutty goodness to it. Overall, 3/5 peanut sauce good but I’ve definitely had better needs a little work.
About 5 minutes after my spring rolls came out, my pho came out still steaming hot (tbh, they gave me pork pho at first by accident which was np they ended up bringing me a fresh chicken pho) & man it smelled great! First sip of the broth had a oniony herbal beefy broth flavor with hint of jalapeño & cilantro; good stuff! Digging into the pho a little more, I tried the rice noodles & they were absolutely perfect! Soft but not soggy, good favor! Honestly, the only downside was the lack of white onions (even asking for extra) & lack of chicken; I don’t think there was nearly enough in the soup (although what I did get was good! & flavorful!). Overall though, 4 felt it was a tad skimpy on some things but if there was more chicken & white onions it would be a 4.5. I also feel that the price for a regular bowl is a little steep; at other locations I can get a large for a little cheaper or about the same price.
Saigon Corner at Steamtown is a good spot to eat if you have a pho itch, I would definitely recommend hittin this spot!

Located inside a mall with garage parking attached to the mall. This restaurant will validate your parking ticket for free parking. We ate here on a Friday afternoon on our way back home. We were the first customers to arrive as we got there just as it opened.
In addition to their food, they also have bubble tea. We ordered the thai tea and vietnamese blended milk coffee. Loved the blended milk coffee but just keep in mind that it is very strong! I found the thai tea to be a bit too sweet amd ended up mixing in some water later.
The pho was very good with rich meaty broth that wasn't greasy at all. They gave us plenty of noodles and lots of meat. The spring rolls consisted of both pork and shrimp but the peanut sauce was a bit too watery. I prefer mine to be of thicker consistency.
We love garlic noodles so when we saw them on the menu, we had to order it. Unfortunately, we found it to be very salty. The noodle texture was perfect though, nice and chewy. Loved that it came with large shrimp and meat but just eat too salty.
Our waitress was very nice and checked on us a few times. Seating is roomy and overlooks the mall.

Really good sandwiches, they let you actually watch the chef work on your meals. I can guarantee if your an american and you think a basic BLT is a god tier you'll be blown away by their Banh MI it's a Vietnamese sandwich. They've been eating it longer than America has been recognized. It's a damn good sandwich.
Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator below the restaurant. In the center of the mall.
