Do not go here if you are hungry. We stopped by this place for a late breakfast. We were visiting the area and saw it had good reviews. When we walked in it was packed and a little overwhelming but you could tell it obviously is a place liked by locals and it must be good. Unfortunately we will never know how the food was. We are understanding of places being busy and patient but have to draw a line somewhere. There were multiple tables waiting for food. Some who were there before us, and a couple after. What made us finally get up and leave (after waiting an hour) is a table that had sat wellllll AFTER everyone - they got their food. It was a four top and one of the people were eating exactly what I ordered. My husband had ordered a ham and egg sandwich and I ordered two over easy eggs with white toast and corned beef hash. An hour was a long time to wait for this but to make the mistake of serving people who came in long after us, that was just unacceptable, especially the same food. I wish I had read recent reviews before wasting our time. Best of luck. Hopefully the other tables who came in shortly after us eventually got their breakfast.
Food was ok , meat lovers omelet was not meaty , corn beef hash was from a can . Very good service .

The food was good and the portions were very generous but the wait was very long to get our food once ordered. The waitress forgot to bring some of the drinks to the table but quickly brought them over once she realized the mistake. It looked like there were only two waitresses on, and the restaurant was full. They could have been understaffed.

My wife and I have been coming to Sharon’s since we moved here four years ago and it was great. However the last couple of times things have went downhill and today was the worst. Took one hour to get our food and it was not hot. I asked for water 3 times before finally getting water. If you have a new cook we can understand but come on an hour for 2 eggs and toast and can’t even get a glass of water. We consider ourselves regulars but we won’t be back.

Cheap and easy food but not quick service. Be prepared to wait a long time for a simple meal

This place is horrible! The wait for the food is over an hour, home fries were cold and there was a small blonde hair in my corn beef hash probably because the cook didn’t have a hair net on her head while cooking. Our drinks were served immediately when we walked in but since we waited over an hour for the food they were warm. I will not be coming here ever again. Much luck to those who come here.

I go to this diner with my mother once a month. Food is always good. But beware, we paid for our meal in cash. I got takeout and my mother got an omelette. We paid 24 and left a 5 dollar tip. I left my car there and we took my mother's to the store and came back for my car to be greeted that "didn't pay our bill" I told them to check the cameras and we willing walked in and said if we hadn't paid our bill why would we come back in. We were treated poorly and was accused of stealing. Blonde waitress or other group eating there stole the money and they couldn't even pull up their cameras to prove us wrong. Never going back there, I left my takeout I didn't even eat on the counter and couldn't believe the attitude these workers had. We had left and gone to the store for over 35 minutes to give perspective to this before I returned to my car. Don't give your money to these thieves.

Classic breakfast place. Great people, great old time small diner feel and just good old eggs, meat and potatoes breakfast. Mia the waitress and her Mom are sweethearts. This diner actually gives me a reason to come to Scranton now. Also parking is easy in and out in this joint.

They ONLY TAKE CASH. Don’t serve mainstream soda products. Tables and chairs are small and uncomfortable. The atmosphere is ugly and gross.
We sat down at a dirty table and waited 5 minutes for it to be cleaned. The waitress was nice, but took forever to take our order, drinks didn’t come out for a long time, and food didn’t come out for about 40 minutes.
The food was the worst diner food I’ve ever eaten. The potatoes were hard and undercooked, and the omelette was difficult to eat, as the vegetables were undercooked and sliced far too large.
