Excellent homemade chicken soup. Excellent French fries, too. Piping hot!!!

Pancakes bigger than your head!! Opted for a single blueberry & banana pancake, because when the size of your pancake is bigger than your plate—and takes up the whole griddle—there’s no way I’m even finishing that . It packed really well & made for a nice snack on the way backhome. Since my tasty coffee and pancake filled me up, I didn’t get a chance to try to the buffalo hoagie, stuffed french toast, and volcano fries we ordered. Highly recommend that if you visit Sharon’s Place by yourself, or with one other person, that you sit on one of the stools. It gives you a chance to yak it up with other people sitting at the community area! They carry RC Cola too, which was a nice change from the standard Pepsi or Coke offering. Certainly a place we will visit again when driving back through.

NEPA FOOD REVIEW SYNOPSIS" Service" - Wait staff are quite kind and jovial and seem to put off a relatively positive energy. Special attention is given to regulars."Structure"- The building on outside and inside are basic 1950s diner style but shows its age. Interior is in a desperate need of a remodel to invite a younger generation. Older locals are the bread and butter of this business. There is nothing to invite the new, "younger" generation to the establishment. Seats, floors and ceiling are very worn and dirty."Cleanliness" - The resturant is quite dirty. Ceiling vents are caked in dirt waiting to blow on customers food. Grill hood is dirty as well as other items in that area. In my hours stay, no hand washing was performed. Dirty items were handled and then food. Food product was handled without gloves or washing. Cross contamination is a reality."Food"- Bland and flavorless. No passion in the kitchen. There seems to be no love for excellent food. The food is stuck in 1950s and there is no modern flavors or an evolution in cooking. This food will not usher in a new crowd. Ingredients used are a cheap shortcut with craft cheese slices and canned condiments. All food is cooked in one station and on one flat top. Potatoes had a bland chlorinated taste and nothing was fresh. Some items were inedible."In Conclusion"- There is nothing currently here that will excite new patrons to come back. A remodel, more care and a passionate trained chef could certainly create a very successful resturant! The bar is set very high for todays food standards. Any resturant not willing to modernize with the times may not stand a chance. "Cook up good food and they will come!" Well, That is only half the battle..

My breakfast was delicious, I love oatmeal and no one has it anymore, I was thrilled they did. Plus the pancakes were huge, size of my plate and fluffy. The waitress was a doll, and very good. Husband loved his meal as well. We will be back.
Fast service food was delish ..
