The friendly staff always gets it done! I've grabbed the 6.99 meal of the day on each of my last few stops and every sandwich (meatball mariana, baja chipotle chicken) was on point! The honey mustard BBQ chicken sub is also fantastic! Subway also quietly has the best chocolate chip cookies of any fast food place. They are to die for when they're freshly baked. Love stopping here to eat!
Before you all read the rest I had to come back and edit my review. I had this Subway again today yup that means it was laundry day lol anyways I got a woman this time in maybe her late 40s and she made my sandwich absolutely perfect! All the right proportions, exactly how I asked but even better! She made a very nice neat sandwich I tore up what I could of half a 6 inch lol (health issues) I will definitely eat the rest throughout the day though because its good! I've worked at two subways one when I was in my early 20's and one just recently I'd still be working at if not for my health anyway I know Subway in and out let's get to the point! I go to this Subway sometimes because I do my wash across the street and at this one you need to tell whoever makes your sandwich here in complete detail before they start it or they will start it how they want and put way to much or to little of everything on it ! Like today for instance I wanted just one extra line of mayo on top of my tuna but didn't say it and the man went a bit mayo crazy I basically would of been biting into a mayo sandwich every bite so I had to speak up and ask him to take some off (I hate doing things like that I dont like to complain or ask for things I usually just deal) but I also realized if I wanted my sandwich the way I like I'd have to speak up and tell the worker exactly how much of everything I wanted and how to do it I felt like a Karen apologized and tipped of course though. This wasn't the first and it won't be the last I had/have to tell them exact amounts and how I want my sandwich lesson learned from experience like the norm. Now if you want the best Subway in the area around Dunmore, Throop, surounding areas, The Dunmore subway in Joe's is the best Subway by far in all areas! This is the one worked at, has the best manager I've ever worked for, some basically all of the best coworkers, the ones who've been there the longest are some of the best people I've ever met in my life especially the manager, I'd love to mention their names but not sure they'd like that, and the food is the best and freshest Subway food you will get! That's not me being biased because I worked there that's me being completely honest. It's the only Subway I'd eat at in the area before I worked there and the reason I wanted to work there was because I seen how clean and neat it was noticed the manager always out there helping out doing something, associating with customers, making sure everything was going smooth and right, the morning shift girls I mentioned that have been there the longest are known and very liked by the cutomers, it's just a very friendly sometimes fun, sometimes chaotic, crazy atmosphere! I could write so much more but I'll say this again Loudly The Best Subway in the area all around hands down!!Thankfully it's the closest Subway to where I live and that's how I found it! Guess I should go rate that one I'm not sure I have.
Ordered a few hoagies for lunch on Uber Eats. Our first driver arrived and called to let us know the lights were on, but the doors were locked and no one was inside. We called twice since we were charged for the order and got the voicemail. Since it was through Uber and the restaurant was listed as “open”, we couldn’t cancel our order. 4 more drivers arrived and canceled on their end because they couldn’t get into the building. I’ve seen other comments with the same issue. The employees must literally just leave and lock the doors even though it’s during normal business hours. (It’s 1pm on a Sunday and they’re listed as open.) Absolutely ridiculous.

I walked in at 9:05pm last night, and was advised that the store was closed. Pretty disappointed especially since I made sure to check online of the closing times before leaving the store, and while walking out in the door itself it said they close at 930. Even in upstate New York, if they are closing before the time they are supposed to, they always lock the door. So the fact I was able to walk in while he was still collecting things was a no no. I am happy that someone else ended up showing up after me too, bc we all thought they were still opened.

Would give zero starts. My girlfriend ordered food from the app and said it would be ready by 7:30pm. Arrived at 7:35 and the door was locked. The employee completely ignored me and my girlfriend when we knocked on the door. Thought they were open till 9?

Asked for specific numbers they had no idea what goes on it. No accessible napkins. $20 for two 6’ and 2 drinks and there was 2 slices of meat and 1 slice of cheese. And one of the workers in there who looked like the manager walked into us and looked strung out on drugs. Terrible and over priced….

If i could leave fewer stars I would. I've been there during normal operating hours and it was closed. Several times. Then saw it open for 15 mins just for the chick to leave again and shut down the shop. Does subway just let people open and close whenever they want to do their dope or what?

Went into the store at 6:00 pm and was told they are not taking orders anymore when the sign says they are open until 9:00. Very rude employee someone with put a mobile order 30 minutes earlier. She was just making it at the point. So I went back into the app to double check the hours, the mobile app said they were no longer taking orders anymore.

I had a really good experience at this location on 10/23/2023. I was the 3rd customer in line, and I got to watch the young lady behind the counter give nothing but excellent service to a very elderly man. And then again to the woman in front of me. She smiled the entire time I was in line. All the way until I walked out the door. She was very kind to the older man, wasn't rushing him, she was helping him actually. He had a hearing problem and was moving a little slow and it didn't bother her one bit, and it was refreshing to see it. It was nice to see someone so young providing customer service like this. I hope she remains that way all through life. You never know what someone else is going through, I was having a rough day that day and watching how she treated the people ahead of me in line, reminded me what's important in life. To be kind to each other. Her name is Kirsten Thompson. She should be really proud of herself. Its hard to get customer service like that these days.
