Nice, friendly feeling place with good food. Limited beer selection if you don't like common cheap beers. Very friendly staff and the owner is a great guy. We will be back when in the area.

Haven't stopped as often as i would like but never a bad meal when Mike is cooking! Have been enjoying everything since back in the Preno days, as well as the bar = always nice that Mike still takes the time to stop by and check on everyone during dinner. Chicken Parm this time was terrific, always nice when you can immediately tell the chicken was freshly breaded and cooked to order.

One of my favorite places to eat! If you have specific requests they will accommodate you if they can! They have become personal friends. The pear martini is delicious and this is the place to order a burger!! Freshly made by hand!!! Awesome clean friendly and reasonable. What more can I say?

A very nice bar with a dining area to the side. A varied menu and everything we tried was prepared to perfection. Next time I am in the area I will be sure to stop in. The service is also exceptional. 5 stars all the way!

Driving from Strongsville, OH to Connecticut we stopped in Scranton,PA overnight, looking for a place to eat came upon this place. The outside looks like a house, there was parking in front and in the back via an alley. The inside was clean and nice ambience. We were greeted by the owner named Mike with smile. Made f eel at ease and ask about what we would like to drink. He told us Michelle would be our server. He then brought over the speciality board and recommended if we get a salsa to try their house dressing, which is a balsamic, Parmesan and garlic dressing. I have to say that Michelle was awesome she took care of 3 tables of two people and a table of seven. We watched her as she moved about and every order came out hot and smelled wonderful. As we put our order in my wife got chicken Parmesan with ravioli ( she got six raviolis which were good size, had a taste and the chicken was moist and tender the ravioli was delicious but the sauce brought it all together. There soup of the day was Manhattan clam chowder which is the best one I've had, fresh and flavorful. Ordered the salmon in bourbon glaze was cook perfectly and with my salad got to try their house dressing, if this gets to market this will be my favorite dressing what flavor. We even got to meet the chef name Wally, who is home trained using his Sicilian grandmother recipes. I would definitely recommend The Cabin bar and grill if you stopping in Scranton looking for a place to eat. Lots of locals were there as well.

You Need To Know? Arrived around 5:45 on a Friday night & we were able to be seated immediately. Dont show up with a diesel rig because parking is tuff to come by. Drinks were swift & stiff! We ordered a chicken cheese steak & the cabin burger. The buns were fresh warm & tasty. Just wish they had more inside of them, definitely ate more bread than meat & lettuce. The burger was pretty good & cooked to request. Now You Know! -TBH

Loved this place. The food was fantastic. I had the calamari and the chicken parm. Make sure to get the house dressing on the salad. As the sign says, "Soon to be famous!" Mike and Michelle were great hosts as well! The menu online is not theirs. I took pictures of the real menu below. They also have daily specials.

Real nice find, stopped on our way to DC. We like to eat local when traveling, and The Cabin was the type of place we look for, great food, with outstanding service at a very good price. Worthy of note, their house salad dressing is worth the stop!
