We had been on the road for over six hours and wanted something fresh, so we looked up “salad near me” and this was recommended. The wife and I were very pleased with The Salad Shop! Food was quite good and very reasonably priced. My salad was HUMONGOUS with just the right amount of every ingredient and her wrap was super tasty as well. All of the veggies were clean, crisp, and fresh. If we lived in the area this would be a frequent spot for us. I would absolutely recommend it for a quick lunch.

Went there during lunchtime. Giving it a 1 star because the manager( if not the manager, she clearly was the person in charge at that time) spoke poorly to an employee. The manager was upset the employee made a mistake. I was appalled how she degraded the employee in front of customers. The employee was in tears. Most importantly, no one should be humiliated ever. I won't go back for this reason.

Not bad - staff were nice, shop was clean. the salad i got was good and fresh. the only negative is the “tomato bisque” is literally just campbells tomato soup. it had chunks of the soup in it, like you’d get with canned, and tastes just like it. i was really excited for this soup, and it was a big let down.

I’ve personally never had a bad experience. Their service is pretty regular as far as like friendliness goes. Bunch of young chicks working here mostly. I assume from the surrounding colleges. The salads are fresh as far as lettuce and toppings go. My only complaint is their meat sometimes doesn’t taste fresh. I have had their breaded chicken, lemon pepper chicken, and grilled. And stopped adding chicken to my salads altogether. Can get pricey depending on what you add but you pay for the freshness of a salad. It is a large portion. Really filling. I go frequently. I always order over the phone and it’s usually ready when I arrive. They have seating but I usually take to go.

I will start by saying that I understand mistakes happen ...with that being said, I was disappointed, overall 😕 First time here after wanting to try it for months! We did go at lunchtime so it was extremely busy...no problem, we are pretty patient people. We sat ourselves, immediately, but waited about 10-15 minutes for our wraps. The atmosphere was utter chaos and the employees just looked stressed. We each got a wrap...the half we each ate of ours was ok, at best, nothing to write home about...it fell apart and was sloppy but was generally ok. Then my husband found a hair deep in his second half and that was enough for both of us. He brought it up to the employees to let them know -they half heartedly apologized and offered to make him another one. Needless to say, he declined (for obvious reasons), and they just threw it out and went on with their day. I would have expected an offer to, at least, refund us, partially, but, alas, not so much! They did wear hats but no hairnets (when did this stop being a necessity, by the way). Just an overall meh experience.

The food was fresh and delicious. They recently changed the bowls to a brown cardboard recycled material ,It definitely was disappointing made the salad taste weird

Disappointed… was really excited to try this place because I LOVE redleaf. Came in at 6 to get soup & salads. The soups were cold because they were obviously trying to close and the pasta fagioli was so mushy. The lobster bisque had good flavor but again cold and had no meat, the salads also had barely any protein. This place has potential but needs some improvement

Ordered here on DoorDash on my way home from Boston to Pittsburgh. Sad to know this is 4+ hrs away from me because of how good this place is!! Everything was super fresh, and the size was great! Definitely going to make it a point to eat from here on my next pass through!
