I just went into the Wendy's on Wyoming Ave in Scranton, Pennsylvania & after waiting 5-10 minutes to be acknowledged by and employee and flqgging someone down for assistance, I was told that they are not taking orders in the lobby only the drive thru. Why is the lobby open if you are not taking orders in the lobby. This is ridiculous. And why did I have to wait 5-10 minutes for someone to tell me that. Absolutely ridiculous. Wendy's offers a pleasant morning experience with generous service and good food, although there can be a wait. The parking lot and drive-thru are more convenient in the mornings. For lunch, the food is consistently good, and the mobile app provides great value deals. Recently, new management has improved service and food quality. The Manager Nancy is a rockstar, expediting the kitchen like a fine-oiled machine even when the location is jammed with drive-thru, walk-ins, and DoorDashers. However, there have been reports of poor drive-thru and pick-up experiences, as well as unprofessional and rude staff during afternoon and evening hours. The dilapidated "modern" interior makes one wonder where the fun has gone, but the quiet atmosphere can be appreciated.
