Took my dad out for a classy fine dining experience and wasn't let down ...live piano playing ..dimly lit lovely staff and owner met us and talked amazing staff lovely place will be back to try more food !
My wife and I ate here this evening for our Anniversary and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the wine, to the appetizer, to the dinner, and the service was second to none! We will definitely be going back!
We have been dining at Isabella’s during visits to Lewisburg for a few years.
Experience - the reception and table assignments are very good. The atmosphere is great, nice bar, we prefer to dine upstairs but downstairs is nice as well.
Service - the service is always great.
Food - All of the food is excellent.
Overall, given the experience, the value is good.
The food was extremely subpar for the price, I honestly would not even pay $10 for one of these meals. I ordered the scallops mediterranean and the scallops were tiny and extremely overcooked, for a $36 dish I would have expected to have at least a few normal sized well cooked scallops. Along with that the portions are extremely tiny as well, it feels like they’re trying to be an upscale restaurant but their food is not upscale at all. The food was under seasoned and tasted frozen, if you want good italian food do not come here that is not what you’re gonna get. You will be better off going to a pizza shop that has italian food. I cannot express how terrible the food was at this place, we will never be back again.
Food was nearly inedible and expensive at that. Avoid.
Very nice upscale fine dining experience. The menu is well designed with many excellent choices. The Chef is obviously very skilled in his craft. This restaurant is a gem . I would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a fine dinner. Definitely worth the money.
This was a nice and enjoyable evening for my wife and I. The restaurant is unique because of its history and the vault that is still in the building. There is an attempt to make this an upscale restaurant and the prices reflect that. There is a little TLC they should consider before this is elevated to that status.
All said, this was a nice meal. Just wish they would have had someone playing the piano. Live music would have much more romantic than the piped in songs.
The food and service is amazing everytime !
Date night last evening. Cocktails were wonderful. The papardella pasta special was one of my favorite meals - ever. My husband’s Chix parm was good - I prefer a more hearty sauce. Just me! Service was exceptional! Looking forward to future visits.
First time last night. Wanted to try since seen on channel 16. Beautiful building and service was rather good. Food was a complete disappointment. Wife and I had the calamari and shrimp Isabella. Best part of meal was the bread. Calamari was like rubber and had absolutely no flavor. Obviously frozen and not fresh. Salad was a small plate of mixed greens with dressing, not much else. Shrimp Isabella was four medium shrimp over crab imperial? Shrimp were over cooked and like rubber. Crab imperial was inedible. Not sure there was actual crab in it other than shell .Found myself picking shell out of almost every bite and more seasoning and bread crumbs than anything. $120 plus tip for two people with drinks. Glad to see others had a better experience but ours was a total disappointment.

Make sure you wear something nice to match the beautiful atmosphere as you sit up on a mezzanine , overlooking the restaurant down below .

Great atmosphere in an old bank. Very classy. Great place to take someone for a romantic evening. The pot stickers were surprisingly good for a non Asian based restaurant. The stuffed mushrooms were a bit soggy. The dirty martini was well balanced. A piano player played in the background and took request.

My husband and I both got risotto. Mine, seafood risotto was too salty. My husband liked his.
He had asked for a specific glass of wine which apparently they were out of but she forgot to tell him that they didn’t have it. He then later asked for an another glass of wine and the server forgot it.
We have typically had good meals and good service. We were disappointed this time.

This place was a gem of a find for us on our way through Selinsgrove area. The food the service the interior it was all well suited for a very nice fine dining experience. The building is also really cool because it's a converted Bank where you can see the old safe is behind the bar and it is utilized or or incorporated into the restaurant. We will be coming back through this area soon and this is a sure stop!

I took my wife out for her birthday dinner here. they had a live piano playing when we walked in, and we were immediately greeted and seated, our server was Alayna she was wonderful, she had the menu and daily specials memorized and named them off without even looking, food was great and wine selection was excellent, for a nicer formal night out I would defiantly recommend this place, pricing wasn't bad either, I will go back that's for sure!
