“The food here is absolutely delicious! I haven’t ate a pizza and subs this good in our area. Friendly staff and it’s the best small town pizza. Drinks in bottle on site and chips if you desire. Cheesesteak sub or Stromboli are so good. Our favorite pizza is chicken bbq! But even regular cheese or pepperoni are delicious! Definitely worth ordering and pick up.”

“The food was fresh and authentic. The staff was friendly and the prices weren't bad for real Mexican flair. I'm definitely going back. You are missing out if you don't try it. I had the spicy shrimp and the meals come with red rice refried beans and salad . Not all their food is spicy. There is something for everyone even the kids. My mouth is watering writing this review. TRY IT. Mmmmm”

“stopped in today to try Axemann out...greated as soon as I walked in by 2 ladies working at the bar..Great personalities! they showed me how to order the food which was super simple and convenient..I ordered the Titan Burger with the beer cheese..10/10...and I got the Mac and cheese as my side...very good! I ordered a flight of 5 beers to try them out..my favorites were the Mean Duck and the Black Razz...I definitely recommend this place and will def be back!”

“Papa John’s in Shamokin Dam is one of my favorite places to go because of the people that work there. While the food is good, they go above and beyond to be kind in a world that no longer values that. They are locally owned and operated, which is wonderful because I love to support our local community. If you go there or order from them, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend as one of the bright spots in our Community”

“My husband and some friends went to Axemann Tavern Friday night. We ordered food from the Smokehouse Fixx. The food was amazing. The service was great and the food came out quickly. Very impressed.”

“Date night last evening. Cocktails were wonderful. The papardella pasta special was one of my favorite meals - ever. My husband’s Chix parm was good - I prefer a more hearty sauce. Just me! Service was exceptional! Looking forward to future visits.”

“More expensive than Texas roadhouse and less choices. Had the onions with sauce and they were extremely salty. Too salty. Could not eat them. Brushed off the seasoning in order to eat. Salad dressing was not great. Ate partial salad. Probably will not return.

Parking: Handicap parking in front of doors.

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance but need button to push for opening doors.”

“Great place as always. Quickly got seated, quickly took my order for drinks and appetizers and gave me a few to order my entrée. Only complaints are the server this evening (20Aug2024) was not listening all too well. Still gave her 25%, but damn took my order down wrong, didn't listen to what drink I wanted when it came for a refill. ??‍♀️ Besides that, food was quick get out, server came by for a check consistently. All and all not bad. Also was not busy.”

“Nice variety of tasty food. Outdoor seating in warm weather. Their beers have fun names.

Kid-friendliness: Nice little kids menu. (Pizza and spaghetti are the 2 I remember.) Kids drinks get a lid.”
