The bar was nice but the bartender was miserable. That place needs to get a bartender with a personality.

First time there. Had a great time. Food was plentiful and delicious (love the fresh cut fries and broiled haddock). Friend said the lemon pepper wings were very good. Loved the atmosphere. Waitress Caity was very attentive to all patrons - very friendly and accommodating. Bartender Emma was very sweet nice and paid attention to all patrons as well. Will be back!

I actually like this place despite my following review. I like it in location alone. I live practically behind it. The service has been underwhelming. The first time I went there with my sweetheart, and we didn’t like that the inside smelled strongly of cig smoke, so we went elsewhere to eat. For just drinks, I don’t mind. They open-smoke there and allow patrons to smoke. Then I went for just me and drinks, but I had very interesting service. The bartender was good and friendly to others, but seemed adverse to newcomers. My third experience was similar even though I’d met up with other locals that had frequented there and they were shocked at how I was treated. So, meh overall. I guess it’s great if you KNOW the bartender, but it may be a bad experience -> *if you don’t.*

Not amazing. Allows smoking. Kind of quiet and dull for early in the evening.

The food is always hot, delicious, and reasonably priced. Wings are on point, hot and crispy. The place has a very welcoming atmosphere. We have visited this establishment many, many times throughout the years and we have never had a complaint. This is a very good local establishment.

I chose this hotel originally because the reviews were more positive than those for the chain hotels where we usually stay. That was a good decision--this place is amazing! I was originally apprehensive about the tech check-in, having read a poor review. But we had no problem, and the tech check-in proved to be a benefit. The best things about this place: it's smaller than a chain hotel and more like a country inn, so it's elegant, quiet and personal. The rooms are larger than a chain, CLEAN and comfortable and very well appointed. The furniture is upscale/classy. We were able to get a room with 2 separate sleeping areas each with its own queen bed and TV (think "snoring mitigation" :o), and the price was LESS than a single room/2 queen beds in a hotel chain! Once we stayed here once and met the great ladies running the place, we cancelled a Hilton reservation and rescheduled instead for here on our return trip. This will be our go-to hotel whenever we're in the area from now on.
