We had an amazing experience at the Washington House. The food was probably the best meal I've had in years! The ambiance was great, low lighting, tastefully decorated, and a touch of spooky since it was Halloween. The waitress, Erin, was very professional and friendly. They even made us custom menus with our names on them for our anniversary. I would recommend this establishment to everyone I know!
Overall ok. Bartender/server was a bit slow. We needed to ask for more drinks as they sat empty too long. No need for her to call us sweetie and babe and whatever else either. Then to add 20% tip which she didn't deserve. That's the problem with 6 tops and over, the server knows her tip and doesn't need to work as hard.
Staff are so nice. Excellent butternut soup. Very good duck dish with wonderful flavors. Everything was great. Only thing was portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side. But loved our evening!
