I live up the street from Kool Licks and I love that little shop. They have great options for hard ice cream, soft serve ice cream, and water ice. There is something for almost everyone here. The portions are generous and the prices are good. It is cash only though. A fantastic little neighborhood spot.
They are far better than Rita’s in my opinion. I will travel from the Reading area just to get some amazing water ice and ice cream!! The manager even went above and beyond to help me out to bring them home to my kids!

Ten times better than Rita's! Ice cream, sundaes, water ice and pup cups are all terrific at good prices! It would be made even better with the addition of some outside seating.
