These used to be my absolute favorite but the last 2 times I have stopped at my usual gas station in Titusville to get them they are hard and dry.

We've been eating Clark's Donuts for 30+ years. We recently purchased 4 powdered sugar cream filled long johns. They were small (in comparison to the size 10-20 years ago), they were extremely dry and there was a 'smidgen' of cream filling inside the long john. What a disappointment!

What the hell happened ? Came back to town for a funeral and thought I finally had the opportunity to prove to my children what a great donut tasted like . I grew up in Oil City and told them about the donuts and how great they were especially if you had the opportunity to get them fresh and warm when they first opened . I should have known just looking at them there was something wrong but bought them anyways and the price was high . They tasted like any other donut you can buy at a grocery store at a lower price and the grocery stores are much bigger :( . I found out later that Clark's was sold out to a newer owner . What a disappointment . Guess you can never go home again !
