One of my favorite restaurants! If you go in the evening on a weekend without a reservation, be prepared to wait a bit because it's popular! Bur the food and service is always excellent!

Crazy fresh and very reasonable.

Went last night for dinner, second time going here. Both times the food has been solid and the service has been nice too.

But I hated what they redid with the place - I was on the restaurant side, it felt like I was eating in an office building. It's called the Slippery Mermaid, beach theme was gone entirely and not a mermaid in sight?

Long wait for inattentive service, even early in the week. Sushi was given very mixed reviews from our table. The sushi rice was a bit dry and tasteless. It was very loud in the main dining room. I'd recommend the bar or patio area instead.

Tasty. I got a few of the specialty rolls today and they were very good. The quality of ingredients is there for sure. I'll have to try the simple stuff next time, but these extravagant rolls were super duper.

Me and my husband loved the food and environment!!

Shrimp tempura appetizer was delicious. The batter was so light and crispy. My friend and I both had the mermaid bowl. Very good!! The fish was so fresh and delicious. There is supposed to be a sesame soy sauce but i couldn't taste it. I added more soy. We sat inside. Which has a great vibe but thier out door patio is do nice!!!! We didn't have drinks but they have a great cocktail menu.

I can’t say enough positives about this place! The atmosphere, service, and food are all excellent. It’s one of my favorite places to eat. I drive an hour to get there and it’s worth it! If it was closer, I’d probably have it multiple times a week. It’s a must try and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

Don’t bother ordering online because they don’t make your order until you get there. I have ordered online twice now at the same time of day on a week day and both times there was no else in the restaurant and no one else picking up to-go orders. And yet, upon arrival I had to wait 15 minutes to receive my order.

I got the landlubber bowl and it was delicious. The fried shrimp is tasty!
