El Torito Mexican Restaurant

Service was great!! Food was so so. Got a t-bone steak. Was like a third of the thickness that other restaurants serve.

Tacos served with meat, lettuce, and lousy cheese. No tomatoes or onions. Have to ask for them.
Food was not hot.
Very little seasoning, bland.

Ordered a lunch taco salad to go and when I got to my destination to eat it I saw they gave me a fajita taco salad( it comes with sautéed peppers onions and tomatoes so it became very soggy and my taco shell was ruined) . The food was ok but I had to pick the chicken and lettuce out of everything I didn’t want to eat. I guess just double check before leaving with you food.

Food comes out lukewarm most times, their restrooms have no supplies: no toilet paper, napkins, soap, not even an electric hand dryer.

Response to Owner:
It is absolutely not the responsibility of the customer to manage or correct your staff’s negligence. Basic sanitation and food safety are non-negotiables in your industry. Your restrooms should be checked and cleaned regularly—not once a day—especially when your employees are visibly standing around laughing while guests are trying to enjoy what’s supposed to be a cultural and culinary experience.

Likewise, food should always be cooked and served at safe, regulated temperatures. The fact that this has happened not once, but twice within less than three weeks, is unacceptable.

Since your response came off more defensive than receptive, I’ll leave it to the health department to help you understand the weight of this issue. I was giving you the chance to take solid feedback and make improvements, but once you started deflecting responsibility back onto me—as if it’s my job to tell your employees when to clean a bathroom or properly prepare food—that’s where I draw the line.

Good luck with the inspection.(that was sarcasm if you couldn't tell.)

Don’t recommend. Service was horrible. Waited to be seated for 10 minutes. I was seated and nobody took my drink order. Finally took my order and requested sweet tea. Said they didn’t have any. What? Only raspberry tea. So I got that and it tasted like koolaid. Ordered enchiladas with beans and rice. Food was very bland lacking flavor.

I stopped here while traveling. The host showed me to a seat, took my order, and delivered my food in a way ery short time. There was plenty of food on my plate and it was delicious.

Our family has been here twice in the last few months. The service and food is exceptional! The menu has a huge variety of options. Piping hot, fresh food, and always delicious.

Food is always excellent and inexpensive. Super fast service and excellent food as always.

The food was good, The server was very friendly. I was staying in a hotel on business that is connected to the restaurant, so it was very convenient. My only issue was that the person sitting in the booth next to mine. She was cussing and talking to herself, and she seemed to be having a puchotic break. I would have liked to see a manager try to manage the situation.

When you first walk in you’re greeted with warm colors and positive energy.
My waitress was Livv, she is a spark of energy. She recommended the steak fajita….IT WAS AMAZING. I was shocked at how HOT and DELICIOUS my food was. Not only that but the portions were generous and appreciated. I have been a total of four times only once my food came out a little cold but I did order it togo.
