Some of the items on the salad bar were not fresh, especially the spinach. The cheesy potato soup was too thick, but they repkaced it with a clam chowder, which was good. My daughter's steak was overdone, but they replaced it with no issue.Kid-friendliness: My kids love the chicken finger and burgers with fries. It is great that they get the salad bar with the meal because they love the ice cream with all the toppings.

Food is good and consistent with each visit, salad bar is well stocked with a wide variety of toppings. Also has soup and breads. Service has always been great and the staff is awesome.

So I went here a few years back and really didn't enjoy it. My kiddo wanted to go out for dinner though and said hoss's was what she wanted. I'm glad I came back as the food and service as well as atmosphere were very different from my last visit. Food was all spot on and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Well deffinetly make this a regular stop on our weekend daddy daughter dinners!

Try a crab cake... it was surprisingly very good! We randomly were in the Sunbury area and decided to stop for a late night dinner. The salad bar lured me in. I didn't want anything heavy. My husband ordered a steak, medium, but it was definitely well done. Because he ordered an entree, he could add the crab cake on for me. The salad bar was basically that, salad. They did have three soups, I tried the chicken noodles, and it was just mid. They had some type of Chili/Nacho combination outside of the salad and many deserts.

The staff is very friendly. The food was excellent.Parking: We were pulling a utility trailer and had no problem parking. The street was very busy, but the other drivers were kind enough to stop and allow us to merge into the traffic.

Price are way too high, food quality has gone down. Service is still top notch and the atmosphere is outstanding.

Stopped for Christmas Eve 2023 lunch after going to the noon movie to see WISH. Had received an email: buy a salad bar & get a free burger. Honored special for both of us.Burger was fresh, not frozen beef. Had a good taste. Just would have liked it to be a little hotter when served.Asked for water with lemon. Definitely city water. Bad taste. Do not recommend it.Salad bar is a little smaller than other locations, but all was neat and clean. All employees were in the Christmas spirit.

We didn't stay. The salad bar was a mess. The limited lunch menu was too high priced.

Wish they had these where I live. Good steak for a good price. They are known for their buffet but we ordered single dinners because 2 in our party have mobility issues. Staff was attentive. Homey atmosphere with a large fireplace in the middle. Lots of seating. Go and

I ate at hoss's for the first time in a couple of decades and I expected it to be bad.But it wasn't! Our server was really nice, attentive, knew the menu and answered our questions. And the food was good. It was hot, delicious, the salad bar was good.I mean look, it's Hoss's right? This isn't a gourmet experience. But the food was hot and tastes good. The only real big downside is that it feels like you're eating in a school cafeteria. Big high ceilings and the table layout just makes it feel cavernous and not very intimate.

Didn't get my usual entree, so it may have been that; however, I found the chicken parm & spaghetti bowl very blah. The chicken fingers were a bit over fried.Salad bar salad was good, but the garlic bread was not great. Someone dumped the paprika on it with a way too heavy hand and it was missing the garlic. Our servers were pleasant and attentive.

Very limited healthy options. French Onion Soup is NOT French Onion Soup! Had to ask for cheese in it separately. It was a blob of cheese I couldn't even cut with a knife. Had a stomach ache the rest of the afternoon after having the soup and a simple baked potato. Terrible. But the waitress was very nice and efficient.
