From the view of the river to the friendly staff and the delicious food, this is a really good place to stop. The only thing I’d change is someone needs to tell Skeeter that his jumbo wings aren’t jumbo. Although very tasty, I frequent other restaurants where their wings are larger but don’t make the claim that they’re “jumbo”. We’ll be back the next time we’re in the area but I’ll try something different.

Food was ok, brisket was really dry and the corn bread mushy. Ribs and pulled pork were awesome, so were the slushies.
The view is superb

Met up with family at Skeeters which was mid-point location. Very limited inside seating especially due to a band, so we sat outside above the very busy intersection.
Enjoyed the family visit more than atmosphere. Food was ok, they didn't have bbq sauce options at the table.

Have had lots of people ask if I have tried Skeeters BBQ since my daughter started school at Susquehanna University last year. Yesterday was my first and last time. Being from the south, knowing NC BBQ, Texas BBQ, and KC BBQ quite well, I was excited. The prices are quite high. 2 sandwiches, 1 salad, fries, and 1 drink was over $55.

The brisket was very bland. Virtually no smoke taste, and definitely no dry rub or seasonings taste. It tasted like a completed unseasoned hunk of meat. It had a strange pale color. There was no way it was smoked. It looked boiled.

The pork sandwich was the same. No flavor at all. It was pale meat on a bun.

The bread on the sandwiches were very dense and heavy. When adding bbq sauce to give the meat SOME flavor, the bread was so dense and dry, it sucked up the BBQ sauce like a sponge. Still didn’t help with the bland meat

The French fries were good. The only thing that was worth the price.

The staff is very hospitable and nice. The view was exceptional! Looking over the Susquehanna River while eating is very nice, and to have multiple TVs with multiple college games being televised was a huge plus.

Unfortunately, there is no need to return. The view and the staff can’t compensate for high prices on bland food.

Nice view...but the food is over priced and not very good. My beef brisket wrap was horrible and tasted like I was eating boiled meat. There was very little meat which was gray in color, chewy and tasteless. I would not recommend for 17.99. Came with a 50 cent bag of chips and small pickle. Mac and cheese bites tasted like box mac and cheese. Baked beans were soupy and had no flavor. French fries were cold. They were frozen shoestring type. The half rack of ribs were overcooked, chewy and had a weird smoky taste. The BBQ sauce is watery and tastes like vinegar. ALso, has a bad aftertaste. Will not be back. Took me decades to eat here and now I know why. I never heard anything good about this place. Worst meal for $63. However staff was nice.

Great atmosphere and very pleasant staff. However, the food was horrible. The ribs were cold, pulled pork was dry and tasted like a basic commercial BBQ sauce. The fountain drinks had a musty moldy taste. Will never be returning especially considering the price and terrible food.

Skeeters serves up some wickedly good BBQ. The French fries are the best around.

Great Service, Great Food, and would stop here again! The staff were very helpful - and we enjoyed all of our food. I had the 1/4 ribs and fried shrimp. Ribs were great - wish I would have gotten at least a half rack. Shrimp were just your normal shrimp. Cole slaw and fries were good. Overall, we were very pleased. The bill does add up in a hurry with a family of 5 so be prepared. Drinks not included with regular meals or kids meals.
