Go just for the experience of checking out the building. Service was nice. It was super busy on a Sunday morning. I wish they had a larger selection of quick pastries to buy. The building is spectacular.
This is a great place for your coffee fix. The coffee is great and reasonably priced. They have specialty drinks as well. The inside is worth taking some time to enjoy your cup of Joe. Big comfortable chairs and couches around the room. Stained glass from the days gone by color the walls. There is a Shamokin museum in the back that is cool on its own. Bamse is absolutely one of the coolest looking coffee shops we have been to. Plus there is a museum Inside as well. **We were told when we were there on November 27th that they were closing their doors**I'm actually very sad to hear this. The character, and architecture alone should be enough to keep this spot open. Stop going to Dunkin and Starbucks and support your local businesses!
