It's more of a family style restaurant than a brewery. Beer and food is decent, but unfortunately, this is one of the better options in Shippensburg for a reasonably priced meal and beverages.

Overall very mid experience. I like going to local restaurants but I doubt we will ever be back here again. The food was ok, but for the prices it wasn’t that good. We had a rude waitress that didn’t look at us when she gave us the bill. I left my card on accident (or it was never given back to me, I can’t remember) when I went to pick it up, I believe our waitress insisted on handing my card back to me so she could catch an attitude with me. It was a Friday night but we were the waitress’ only table. The hostess was very kind and I’m sure the other servers were as well. But whoever was wearing the sweatshirt made our dinner very unenjoyable.

First time at the ABC in Shippensburg, and it was a pretty good experience. The layout was open but had a cozy feel to it. They had plenty of IPA's to choose from if you so choose. I had their perogies and beer brats, which was excellent. We also got their hash browns for an appetizer. I also got to try their Chicken Caesar flatbread and the Cali quesadilla. The service was good and the waitress kept our glasses full!

The beer flights are fun for us, but out of 8 different ones we tried, the pineapple sour was the only one we'd buy, and only because it was so different and seemed like it would be good iced on a summer afternoon. Food was great! The Thai peanut bowl was delicious, and hubby enjoyed the fish and chips - one of the better ones after spending 6 weeks near the Atlantic and trying several offerings! Mood was pleasant, music not obtrusive, quiet enough for conversation. Our server, Heather, was perfect. She was patient, answered our questions, and took time to visit a bit before it got busy. Would love to try several more options on the menu, too bad we're just passing through.

This place is never busy and it’s sort of easy to see why. Very overpriced and small portions. The restaurant options are limited in the small town of Shippensburg but this is our second time here and I was underwhelmed.

So today I and a friend went to the establishment for lunch. The food is great so I want dwell on that. As I do not consume alcohol I asked for a surprising drink from the server and I was given a tasty surprised. She presented me with a concoction that is referred to by the name "The Kelly". If you are a person that enjoys a boutique style cold brew coffee then this is for you. Ask for "The Kelly" and you will not be disappointed. Currently only offered at this location and because of its' uniqueness it is not roster on the menu. If you want to empress your special someone or just looking to treat yourself, I would suggest ask for it as a social icebreaker or dessert.

First Trip: Pleasantly surprised at the depth and breath of not only the brews but the food as well. Got the Scotch ale and the Dortmunder lager; both excellent and true to their name sakes. Food wise you can't call it a Bavarian pretzel unless it's done with food grade lye; they did not disappoint. Also would not expect an on point Thai peanut bowl in the Cumberland valley; again a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to our next trip and exploring the menu.

From entrance to exit, we loved our visit. Michael was training as a server and he was terrific: not too many or too few trips to check on us. The appetizers could have been our meal. We had the nachos and some chili. For main courses Agava Swordfish and Pub Pierogis and Brats. My husband declared he never had a fish dish that was so good. I couldn't eat all of my malin course because I had to save a little room for dessert. We shared a caramel bourbon cheesecake with ice cream. Wow! Easily the best cheesecake we've ever had. Food came out quickly. My husband enjoyed his flight of beer. I had the Appalachian Root Beer (Yum!) You cannot go wrong with a stop here.Kid-friendliness: A group of maybe 12 year old girls came in with their chaperones. They were easily accommodated and service was prompt.Wheelchair accessibility: Small wheelchair ramp to make this an accessible location albeit a little tight at entry.

We stopped here Sunday evening to enjoy some local beer, home made soda, and grab a bite to eat. Could not have been better. Great flight of beer, home made root beer. Campfire Chile and Mountain Nachos for appetizers, main course was Perogies and Beer Brats for her, and I had the Agave Swordfish. Both dishes were excellent. We ended with the Bourbon Caramel Cheese Cake which was delicious and paird well with the Susquehanna stout. If you are traveling through PA on I-81 near Shippensburg around lunch or dinner worth the stop.
