We stayed overnight in a hotel in the area. We were looking for a place to eat. Drove by Arooga’s. Rather quiet looking from the outside; however inside proved to be surprising! Friendly reception. Good service. Drinks cold. Pub style food was delicious. Just hit the spot! Plus servers were wearing “feel your boobies” tshirts to support breast cancer awareness!! Marisa, our server was great- friendly, attentive and good at her job! Will definitely return on our next trip through the area!

We stopped in on our way through Shippensburg and had a wonderful dinner. What a wonderful menu, and they have no qualms about substitutions.I went with the New Orleans Hot Chicken sandwich, and it was delicious. For a side, I ordered chili (you can pick between soup, salad, fries, chips, and a lot more). The server let me know that it was hot, with jalapeños, etc., and it was loaded with them, but I like spicy food, and it was very good. Arooga's also had a very nice selection of craft beers on drought.All in all, a great place for lunch or dinner.Parking: They have a small lot just beside the building, but only about 10 spaces, 2 of which were handicap spots.

It was extremely busy due to the play at the college. The staff wasn't aware that there was a show that night so they weren't really prepared for the huge crowd of mostly hyped up women. They handled it great! Our server, Will, was busting his butt and kept everyone happy! Kudos to the staff! Pretty cool vibe in there. Food was good and the drinks were better.

My date Alexandra had the chicken Ceasar salad and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. I drank water and Alexandra drank water and coffee and we split a chocolate chip pizza which had 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup and it was delicious. I highly recommend it.

My friends and I stopped by Shippensburg Aroogas in plenty of time for our concert. There were empty tables but we had to sit at the bar. The bartender was great at filling our drinks. However, we waited over an hour for food that never came. We asked several staff to check on our meals. We had a time limit. The answer was always that the food was being plated. We settled the tab and left as the food was being delivered. No discount, no apology, just scowling as we walked out.

We came for the 69¢ wings and were delighted by the entire menu. The pulled pork nachos in particular were delicious! Food came out promptly and our server Fawn was polite, relaxed, helpful, and just made the experience comfortable.
