We stopped in on our way through Shippensburg and had a wonderful dinner. What a wonderful menu, and they have no qualms about substitutions.I went with the New Orleans Hot Chicken sandwich, and it was delicious. For a side, I ordered chili (you can pick between soup, salad, fries, chips, and a lot more). The server let me know that it was hot, with jalapeños, etc., and it was loaded with them, but I like spicy food, and it was very good. Arooga's also had a very nice selection...read full review
It was extremely busy due to the play at the college. The staff wasn't aware that there was a show that night so they weren't really prepared for the huge crowd of mostly hyped up women. They handled it great! Our server, Will, was busting his butt and kept everyone happy! Kudos to the staff! Pretty cool vibe in there. Food was good and the drinks were better.

We stayed overnight in a hotel in the area. We were looking for a place to eat. Drove by Arooga’s. Rather quiet looking from the outside; however inside proved to be surprising! Friendly reception. Good service. Drinks cold. Pub style food was delicious. Just hit the spot! Plus servers were wearing “feel your boobies” tshirts to support breast cancer awareness!!
