Stopped here on the way home and tried the Smoked Trio special. I'm so glad I did! The smoked brisket tasted awesome and melted like butter in your mouth. The ribs peeled off the bones just like I want them too and the smoked sausage was spicy and flavorful. I decided on the fries and these weren't your normal stick fries, they were more like very thick potato chips. Very nice twist on that. I really hope they make this special a regular menu item.

It's a small bar that has a wonderful owner/operator, a couple of gambling machines, a dartboard, pool table and juke. If ya want a quiet place to go and drink a couple with someone this is the place for you.
This is a unique local place. I had the grilled cod and it was delicious. It was accompanied by a side and vegetable. The Cole slaw was very good. The cod was served with homemade tartar sauce. We had a wonderful waitress. Staff was very attentive. My friends were pleased with their meals. I would have liked a little more food, but it was very good. I will return.

We were passing through Lapeer and stopped for dinner. This was the first restaurant we were in since March 2020. The staff made us feel very safe and comfortable while we ate inside. The place was clean and our dinners were delicious. We both were able to relax and enjoyed the family atmosphere.

Went to eat dinner and watch the game. UofM played great, the food didnt. We both had burgers but were unimpressed, just nothing special. The 5 onion rings ( 2 rings and 3 chunks) I paid extra for were crispy but plain. The bartender was very pleasant and good at her job. Nice place for a drink and a game.

Disappointed that mushrooms disappeared from the menu. Spoke to Mr. Francis. He said they might return. Surely hope they do. Had the Southwest chicken. It was excellent. Server was new. Never got part of our order or a second drink. Really want to support local restaurants, but not when they take my favorite thing off the menu.
