The Lakeview Restaurant knows how to do meals right. Their menu features creative selections, and the chef handles each ingredient with finesse and a light touch. I especially appreciate that they offer half portions of pasta—a thoughtful option for those who want to sample more than one dish.
The house-made spinach pappardelle with English peas, asparagus, zucchini, and wild ramp pesto was absolutely delicious. And the La Belle Farms duck breasts? Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection.
Of course, exceptional food is only part of the dining experience—stellar service truly brings it all together. A huge shout-out to Carolyn and Ashanty for their warmth and attentiveness. They made our evening not just enjoyable, but genuinely memorable. We felt celebrated from start to finish.

Wasn't sure what to expect coming to Skytop Inn, but was pleasantly surprised by the level of service, friendliness, and professionalism of the entire staff from the moment we stepped on the grounds. Our dinner at the Lakeview restaurant continued that experience where we were treated to perfectly cooked meals (I got the homemade spaghetti and meatballs, but even something as simple as that was incredibly well done!) and even has a Mature Bald Eagle fly over the lake around sunset, an added nice surprise. From Theo (who manages the Inn) to the waitstaff it created some lasting memories, highly recommended!

New chef is fantastic, food and menu are top notch. Ambiance is very clean open and inviting.
A hidden gem! First of all, this restaurant is located in a breathtaking landscape and part of a beautiful building. The menu has great options that are more out of the ordinary but very well balanced (the lavender honey cake we had, for example). The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially so Theo, who took good care of us. Highly recommended!

Honestly everything was so much better than I expected. I made reservations on a Friday for me and my friends. Our waitress Maria was so inviting and so was Theo the manager. My vegan Lions Mane Steak meal was soo good! Really good. Sorry but again I wasn’t expecting food to be as great lol. My friends enjoyed their meals also. So we decided to return the following night for dinner as well. I’m sure I will return

Amazing dining experience. The tall waiter he was like 7 foot like a basketball player and was very kind. My wife thought he was very handsome! The food was very good and the presentation of it was artistic. Only small downside was that it was a little over priced. Whoever was my waiter should get a raise! Overall: very good dining experience.

February 8, not the high season. Room was relatively empty for a 7:30 dinner reservation for 6 adults. Several starters worth mentioning; the Spicy Tahini and date salad, the beet cured salmon, the roasted cauliflower soup and my broccolini salad. All delicious, pics attached.
The wine selection is a bit limited but good international options from Italy, France, and Spain at reasonable prices.
The dinners were all wonderful. We did have one fillet go back as it arrived well done instead of medium rare-disappointing. Everything though was delicious.
The staff was also well seasoned, attentive but not intrusive.
The desserts were as expected - great! Leave room for dessert!
Although this is an expensive dinner, it's what I would expect for the price.
Much better than the Windsor room, it's a very different experience and very different menu. It's well worth it.

Had a 7:45 reservation that we were told could be moved up to 7:15. Show up at 7:15 and were told nope — manager said now we could not be seated. No phone call, no text. Ordered wine and appetizers. Appetizers show up, no wine. Can’t flag down staff as apparently we had become invisible. Ordered coq au vin — so salty as to be almost inedible. Choked down one chicken thigh but that was all the sodium my system could bear. Plus there was some kind of salad slapped on top for no discernible reason. Love Skytop and will certainly be back (this was likely stay 25 at lead) but we will be skipping the Lakeview. 5th worst place to eat at Skytop after the Windsor, the Taproom, the Market ( the former Tea Room), and the Corner Roastery. 6th if Callaways happens to be open. Also it’s sports arena caliber noisy, though that depends on the crowd.

Went here for my grandmother's 80th birthday and it was phenomenal. The waitress was very sweet and the food was amazing, both the taste and the presentation. Highly recommend if you're visiting Skytop!!!!
